Good to hear from you. What a beautiful place to spend a dog sitting holiday. Sorry to hear about the knee- have you hurt it or is it an arthritis type of pain?Enjoy you time with the bears 🐶🐻January spends - £587.581

Glad all is well, knee aside. Beautiful photo.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

I'm really not sure at the moment @milann. I've had trouble actually kneeling for a few years now but it was WFH that really seemed to have set them both off. I don't really want to go down the doctor route yet so I've been dieting and hope this will alleviate the pain - along with the gym sessions as well with the PT.Thanks @Sun_Addict - the scenery around here is spectacular!😃
The Bears have had their tea and are currently fighting over a ball in the garden and sniffing out the man who has just delivered some fencing poles!😄
As I'm up quite early with them (it's like waking up to commute all over again) I'm normally in bed by just gone 9.30pm. Sunset up here at the moment is about 10.30pm with sunrise at 4.30am so it never really feels like it gets dark! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Ahh I have Scottish view envy!
If you're seeing a PT then it would probably be a good idea to get the knee thing checked out by a professional too SSG - they won't be qualified to diagnose what should and shouldn't be done using it and you don't want to risk making it worse!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks @EssexHebridean - it's a nice view from part of their garden. Seeing a professional for my knee could be a good idea. The PT is excellent - I'm not doing any real leg exercises with him, just some very mild semi squats.Today the weather was gorgeous up here after an initial cloudy start - blue skies and white clouds with a good breeze to keep away the dreaded midges! 🦟. I did a load of washing, pegged it our on the line and it was dry in a couple of hours. I miss having my own garden at home in which to hang your washing. I can't do that at my flat - everything has to be dried indoors. ☹️The neighbour walked the dogs this morning and came in for a coffee and we had a chat - she's very nice. Her husband, son and her came up from England to live here several years ago after holidaying in the area over the years and love it. They bought their house here with the equity from their English house sale and haven't looked back.MSE SCRIMPY THINGS
Another NSD day today. As it is the last day of the month I have been checking my YNAB pots before I allocate July's categories tomorrow. I was slightly overdrawn on my Kindle/Book/Streaming and Toiletries categories so have moved a few things around from other categories where I have a good surplus.Octopus have also emailed me to let me know my monthly electric DD has been increased from £43.84 to £73.38. I do have £150 in my electricity category already which I put there from my council tax rebate. I'm also in credit nearly £88 so this will be something to go towards this winter's bill. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

The Bears woke me up today to a rather typical West Highlands rainy, drizzly day. Fortunately the rain has stopped now and it seems somewhat brighter, although still cloudy.I had a nice stomp earlier in the sodden, long grass in the garden as the delivery guy left two parcels on the step outside and of course the Bears thought it great fun to run away with these! I managed to get them back in the end...😆
I had a nice evening yesterday as I attended the opening of DD and OH's friend/neighbour's art exhibition in the village which went very well. It was a balmy evening and we had wine on the balcony overlooking the sea. She is a beautiful artist and creates canvases and etchings of the surrounding wild area and wildlife. It's just the sort of abstract art that I love so I treated myself and bought two small canvases which will look very well hanging in my hall at home and I will see them each time I come in through the front door.😀Today is another rather restful day, although I'm going to clean the fridge later.I'll also be watching the very final episode of 'Inspector Montalbano' tonight on the TV. I've loved this series over the years and sad there will be no more. ☹️ Beautiful, beautiful Sicily. It's on my bucket list of places to go....💕

Not so scrimpy as I bought the paintings - definitely a want rather than a need but I'll get a great deal of pleasure from them. Nothing else spent. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
