I use a small frying pan and shallow fill it with water. Bring to barely simmer and then crack in two eggs carefully. After a few minutes the whites solidify and I spoon some of the water carefully over the yolks to cook these. Remove from pan individually very warily with the fish slice. Works better the fresher the eggs. 😃🥚Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I do mine in the microwave, that way it doesn't matter if someone distracts you & someone always does distract me.

@in_need_of_direction and @badmemory - the eggs come out flat, looking like a fried egg rather than the usual poached egg shape but they still taste the same!😃. I have attempted to poach them in the microwave but can never get them quite right. They end up hard boiled!
Today it's overcast in Seasideville though not muggy. The weather forecast was for torrential rain today but it appears to be passing us by apart from a shower round about 6pm.My Ocado delivery arrived and I've just finished putting everything away. I'm off to Scotland in just over a week so have enough fruit and veg till I go and also stocked up on dry goods and household bits so I'm covered there and won't need to reorder for a few weeks after I come back.I'm just having some grapes and fat free yoghurt and that will do me as I will be eating out later after the Cher show matinee.MSE SCRIMPY THINGS
Today's spends will be my Ocado order, taxi fares, drinks at theatre and eating out at the Italian restaurant. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thanks @Sun_Addict @doingitanyway and @beanielou😃
The Cher Show was really excellent! The three actress/singers were wonderful - such good voices - you would really think it was Cher singing! We all thought it was good enough for the West End and I wasn't surprised to have read since that it started on Broadway and won a Tony!
Negative - I know theatre drinks are always dearer than average but it was £6.80 for a single gin and slimline tonic at the theatre bar! 🤷♀️ I think more people are going to start smuggling their drinks in...... And this was at a provincial theatre - heaven knows what price the West End.....
The meal afterwards was a bit up and down! The actual restaurant was nice and the staff were lovely. The starters and meal were good but when it came to the desserts it was a bit mixed. Three of us including me had ice cream, one friend had cheesecake and the other two ordered tiramisu. The ice cream was fine but my friend didn't like the cheesecake - the portion was rather small and she said it was really stodgy. The tiramisu started out well but then it was found that the middle was frozen! The staff were very apologetic and asked if they was something else they could serve but my friends said no. The restaurant refunded the three desserts and gave us all a free limoncello. Apart from that it was a beautiful evening weather wise with good company and none of us couldn't fault the Pinot Grigio blush!🤪🥂
One funny thing that happened - when my friend and I took the taxi to the theatre we had a Singing Cabbie! He sang at the top of his voice along with the tracks on his iPhone the whole way! Actually he had a fantastic voice and we were treated to renditions of Tom Jones, Pavarotti and Otis Redding - all this with the cab windows down so the whole district could hear! 🤣🤣🤣
All in all it was a lovely day and I was even home in time for 'Changing Rooms'.....😃👍
Yesterday I didn't do much - washing and started making a list of what to take up to Scotland next week clothes wise. Apparently it will be chilly with rain during my time there - I don't mind after all this heat though.Today is housework and a walk as it feels a lot cooler today. I'm also making a list for my Tesco's order for when I'm up in Scotland.MSE SCRIMPY THINGS
Yesterday I received £20 from the dress agency. All I have left is one pair of sandals still on sale there. She's stopping taking in summer stuff at the end of the week and then it'll be autumn/winter take in.I've also ordered cinema tickets for next Tuesday as my friend and I want to see the new Fisherman's Friend film. We saw the previous film when it came out and really enjoyed it.Nothing else spent - didn't win the lottery Wednesday evening. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
