Beautiful photo. I bet the snowy image with the stag stays in your memory a long time.
Hope you had a safe journey and are now at home 🤞

Oh those photos SSG - glorious!

As for that PB win, well as much as I am currently bearing a grudge against ERNIE who does appear to have forgotten I exist, I'm delighted to hear that at least some of the decent money is heading to people I "know"!

    Thank you so much guys!😀
Well another black mark to me for failing to keep up with my diary! And I was going to start the New Year on a new note!😵‍💫
I got back from Scotland ok and am now currently on a train winging my way to the North East of England to stay with DD for the weekend.
Since I returned from Scotland good times have included a spa day with my DSis,  was a birthday present from last year from her and her family, and a weekend away with DD to see Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake and a performance of The Tempest with Sigourney Weaver, the tickets of which were birthday and Christmas gifts from me to DD.
The bathroom fitter returned the other day as my new mirror and shelf had finally arrived - I'm very pleased with how the bathroom looks.
DD is working at home today so will be at home when I get there and this evening we'll be staying in with a Thai takeaway and having a hunker down film night!

    MSE SCRIMPY THINGS
Not especially scrimpy this month as we have had to extend the lease on my parents' grave as it expired at the end of last month. We have extended it for another 20 years - not particularly cheap c. £3,000, but the cost is being split between me, DSis and DD.
As I've continued to lose weight, I've had to finally buy some new clothes!
I've also bought another set of brushed cotton bedding from M&S as I loved the set I bought recently for winter. They are so warm and snuggly!😍The sets in Dunhelm were cheaper but I haven't got a store near me and they wouldn't deliver some of the set online.

    WEIGHT
This is going very well. I'm on my 5th Mounjaro 7.5mg pen and I'm coming up to the six month mark since starting. On Tuesday's weigh in I lost another 2.8lb which means I've lost nearly 4 stone. I'm now in a size 20 - down from size 24 (or I really think more like a 26 but I was squeezing myself in 24s!). I feel so much better health wise and everyone is remarking on how much I've lost and how better I look.
I've gone down a bra band size so bought four new bras in M&S the other day (20% discount with Sparks!). I also bought a really nice pair of corduroy slim fit jeans in a lovely bitter chocolate colour in there, and a couple of new tops in Next - all size 20. I don't want to go mad buying new clothes as I'm still hoping to lose quite a bit more weight, but my clothes were feeling so loose.  I've already taken some to the dress agency and charity shop so the wardrobe is looking less full!
