I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Robin Hood's Bay, I had a family holiday near there as a teenager and loved it 🙂. I think you were wise not to book Portugal as travelling abroad seems a logistical nightmare at the moment with all the extra testing and paperwork plus worrying to be trapped in a plane full of people breathing and not much outside ventilation 😫 .
You sound like you've been enjoying seeing friends and family lately 🙂 .Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Nice to hear you and your mum enjoyed your garden centre trip, it so nice to be able to get out and about again at last. The DNA testing sounds interesting,I've always wanted to trace my family tree and my uncle did do quite a lot of work but he's no longer with us and I don't know what happened to all the info he found. I will have to ask my Dad in case he knows. We have quite a scandalous family background so it would be interesting to find out about my relatives 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1203

My mum did a lot of research into the family tree and discovered that one relative abandoned his wife in Devon and bigamously married another woman in Wales 😳. Fascinating stuff 😂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

The DNA test has been sent back today , I wonder what I will find out. Good job I didn't book Portugal it's now on the Amber list , travelling is just so up and down nobody knows what's going to happen.Been for a meal with my friend today , who I haven't seen for 12 months , she had suffered with alopecia for years and has had her hair interwoven into a false head of hair . It looks amazing on her and has given her pride in herself again. Not cheap to have done though and the upkeep is expensive but so worth it to her .I have the GKs tomorrow , we are going swimming and then lunch out .Best get an early night then.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5

As much as I love my holidays abroad, I’m not booking anything until it’s safe to do so without the need of Covid tests. If need be I’ll wait until next year.
That’s good news about your friend and the hair. Someone I used to work with had the same condition.Enjoy the GKs tomorrow.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
