Well done on the walking! 👍
It sounded like you were right to forego the Portugal trip - the Lakes will be lovely though.

  • I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Robin Hood's Bay, I had a family holiday near there as a teenager and loved it 🙂. I think you were wise not to book Portugal as travelling abroad seems a logistical nightmare at the moment with all the extra testing and paperwork plus worrying to be trapped in a plane full of people breathing and not much outside ventilation 😫 .

You sound like you've been enjoying seeing friends and family lately 🙂 .

I’m looking forward to being back in the office a couple of days a week. Might not be until August though.

In work this morning , a few colleagues are also in today . Have done my core exercises this morning , I feel so much better having done them.
Lunchtime will be a short walk maybe a couple of miles and then log on at home . Loving the combination of home and office working .
    Enjoy the sun everyone.

Nice to hear you and your mum enjoyed your garden centre trip, it so nice to be able to get out and about again at last. The DNA testing sounds interesting,I've always wanted to trace my family tree and my uncle did do quite a lot of work but he's no longer with us and I don't know what happened to all the info he found. I will have to ask my Dad in case he knows. We have quite a scandalous family background so it would be interesting to find out about my relatives 😊
    Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,120
  • My mum did a lot of research into the family tree and discovered that one relative abandoned his wife in Devon and bigamously married another woman in Wales 😳. Fascinating stuff 😂.

As much as I love my holidays abroad, I’m not booking anything until it’s safe to do so without the need of Covid tests. If need be I’ll wait until next year.

That’s good news about your friend and the hair. Someone I used to work with had the same condition.

    Enjoy the GKs tomorrow.
