  • The usual Friday DGS2 and myself . We have been to the big park and met my friend , love being outside . DGD has invited herself to stay again 😂, much to the chagrin of DGS1, who is now staying next weekend.
Have a busy weekend with grandchildren and parents , can't wait for P/T working. I am saving like mad for the 6 months with no pension just half my salary I really don't want to touch my savings . It's there though should I need it .

  • Wet and windy morning here ,I am just going to get DGD up for her drama session. My dad had another small tumble on the stairs and went to A@E with his hand yesterday. It has all been dressed , nothing broken. He doesn't hold on to the bannister and was carrying something again. Good job they live near a big major hospital.
Beauticians later and then the weekend housework.

Thank you for asking , I am fine.

  • Nearly two weeks since I last posted , life has been hectic with work, mum and dad GKs .

Dad has had another accident, cut his head open, no hospital visit needed , it was a genuine accident.
DGS2 wasn't very well last Friday so called DD to say he was very warm and didn't look well. She came for him about a hour earlier than she normally does . When he got home he had two febrile convulsions, so ended up in A@E with a temp of 39.8 . He is fine now and is walking really well now so eyes in the back of head needed.
DGS1 was 8 this week , time flies it seems.
Work is really busy at the minute , well it's nearly always busy really. I am enjoying my trips to the office once or twice a week , but love wfh as well.
Not long until my craft break 4 weeks and 6 weeks until trip to Spain.
Today I should have been out all day with a friend but she texted me at 7.30 to say she was ill. Weather to nice to stay in so roped in DS for a ride out to a place recommend by another MSE person. Had a lovely walk in the sun and then brunch in a pub.
Tomorrow I am meeting up with said MSE friend . Tuesday off to big shopping mall with another friend .
Trying to get lots in, whilst I am still on full time salary .
Going to finish reading my book now .
