I survived the 4 days of babysitting. Have loved having all 3 of them here at some stage , the eldest 2 have stayed overnight as well on separate nights. Mum is off for 2 weeks now so I am having a nice rest.My dear friend who lost her mum on Xmas Eve was upset today as the earliest cremation date is the 26th Jan. Of course it's the pandemic and other factors.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

This last year hasn't been a bad one for me personally apart from the lockdown and the general Covid worry. We welcomed my surprise grandson into the world in January . We managed to have a family holiday in august. I have been able to visit friends in the Lake District and North East various times . Had my craft break in September as well. The best bit though was becoming debt free in April., the peace it has brought me can't be bought. Also along the way I have made two RL friends who are lovely people , who have shared similar journeys on this forum.Next year is a big one for me I will be 60 in December and hopefully will be going part time at work, but I am going to try and aim for September. My parents celebrate a big wedding anniversary as well this year.I will be going through my budget with a fine tooth comb to see what I can get rid off from my budget as I need to be frugal and save , save save for my part time working.Anyway Happy New Year to everyone who has commented or read my diary this year.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.7 -
