Christmas plans have had to be changed owing to Covid , my DS will now be on his own Christmas Day as he awaits his test result.I feel like not celebrating at all , my family is very small and the thought of DS being alone makes me sad . I have my parents coming to me Christmas Day and will see DD later and then Boxing Day. I am signing off now for the next few days . Everyone have a good Christmas.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Sorry to hear about your DS. Every man and his dog seem to have this particular strain of Covid but most have nothing worse than a cold. Seems crazy to make people isolate. Hope you enjoy Christmas anyway.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

This year Xmas feels worse than last year, definitely not cheery. We are our DS’s for lunch but they have had a scaled down due to 2 family members testing positive. Does put a bit of a dampener on the day. Truthfully glad when it’s all over now. Best wishes hope you manage to enjoy the day even though it’s not how you had planned SSG.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.003

Well some good news DS has got a negative test result, we can now do Boxing Day together. He had a good day on his own yesterday via FaceTime . Mum and dad enjoyed themselves here with me , I love having them over for Christmas. I am looking forward someone else cooking today though. All presents put away , just need to put all the cardboard and paper in the recycling bin.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

Was out shopping early this morning , the shop was really empty , bliss . Pleasant Boxing Day with DS, DD and clan plus ex hubby.Been for a very long walk today , started raining just as I got in the door. Tomorrow I have promised eldest a trip to a museum he has wanted to go to for ages . Depends on whetherBoris announces any new changes .I am thinking of plans for next year , lots of things to contemplate.Going to find a film to watch now .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

My DIL went out shopping today and said it was really quiet. I’m determined to stay away. Need a few bits on Friday and that will be it. Years ago I used to go to the shops even if I didn’t need anything just to see what bargains I could get.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.003
