If you have noticed Tesco is taking the p*** out of us, the consumer.
I have wrote a previous thread regarding them.
This time it's to do with the fact, they are charging a whopping £3.00 for 24 Weetabix.
It's disgusting and the reason is because they want you and me to purchase the "Tesco Wheat Biscuits" that are next to them.
Tesco Wheat Biscuits are £1.10 compared to the 3x that of the Weetabix.
I went in Tesco express yesterday and noticed they had sold 8 boxes of there own brand and they had NOT sold even 1 box of Weetabix, not even 1.
This is nothing new to Tesco they are choosing are spending habits, it's not just Weetabix but it's Nescafe and Nutella and every other branded product.
They don't care about the customer and they certainly don't care about there bread and butter companies that Tesco was originally built on.
Their moto is "Every Little Helps" and yes that is true, it means Tesco will Grab every little penny you have no matter how little the amount is.
This is complete and utter "Price Fixing" they have doubled the cost of branded products to guarantee you will buy the cheaper version which is of course Tesco Brand.
I noticed that they started price fixing around ten years ago but now they are just taking the p***.
How much longer are we going to put up with this company?.

Online I see the Tesco wheat biscuits are now 95p, they're matching Aldi price. If people want to buy supermarket's own brand, that's fine, it's their choice.
Competition is good for consumers isn't it?
For 24 Weetabix biscuits:
Tesco - £2.80
Asda - £2.79
Morrisons - £2.80
Sainsbury - £2.801 -
They are 2.79 in asda. (morrisons/sainsbury £2.80)
And more importantly why would you eat them they are disgusting.
Also shop at a real tesco not tesco express. Website for tesco says £2.80
Tesco express stores are always more expensive.

So not a scam
And not shameful
OP , try shopping at a local co op if you want to pay over the odds

Op you need to get out more. Shop at Aldi or Lidl or perhaps M&S and Sainsburys?
You only appear to post about your so called scams. You do seem a little obsessed with Tesco? There is more to life. Enjoy shopping. The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon4 -
Why is it that when someone uses the word scam' all they mean is that they want to have an inane rant about something they clearly do not understand.Past caring about first world problems.5

Omg £3.00 for 24 Weetabix - that's 12.5p EACH !!! -- Scam,Scam,Scam ---- erm NOPE
Think of the full chain to get these scandalously "overpriced" items to your basket
Producer - The Farmer
Manufacturer - Kelloggs
Retailer - Tesco
All taking their cut with their own expenses
Years ago I heard(saw) something about the price of petrol and how scandalous it was.
Once Tax was removed from the price and consideration taken for the expense and process required to make the stuff, it's actually a bargain -- as a direct comparison Petrol per litre is Cheaper than Beer0 -
This is the second thread you’ve started incorrectly accusing Tesco of doing something wrong.
What’s your actual issue with them?4 -
Go somewhere else; there's plenty of choice.

Actually, the manufacturer is Weetabix Limited, not Kellogs.
They also make Alpen.
