Hydrogen is a great fuel. The only 'emission' is water.
Problem is storage. They can't yet store it safely.0 -

There's also the slight issue that generating hydrogen is an energy-intensive process and in order to reap the benefits of using hydrogen, you need to be able to do this in an environment-friendly manner...0 -
What about anti-hydrogen? Maybe cars could have a warp core like the Star Trek ships :rotfl:0

Slightly OT but years ago my old gran would say “there is going to be a shortage of sugar”.
Once this got around on the OAP grapevine all the OAP’s would trot off to the local shop and stock up. Cue gran saying “see told you there was going to be a shortage”
I sometime think the shopkeeper used to start the rumours0 -

www.transaction-2007.com
This site has a forum of motorists, in fact even non motorists to whom are fed up with the high taxation on fuel. Many people do not realise the implications on high costs of fuel.
At present there are over 500 members and there IS something happening in the near future:D ...............
''On the evening of the 6th December 2007 a meeting took place in the midlands made up of a delegation of Transaction and RHA members from all regions of the UK. On finalising the meeting it was decided unanimously that "legal protest action" would be commenced. The dates and times will be published here in the coming days. Your attention should be focused on the day of Sunday 9th December for a further release from us.................''
Worth a good look and if you are fed up with the taxation join up!!

Agree that fuel tax is too high, but haven't we had TWO elections since the last uprising? Amazing what a bit of low interest rates/house price inflation can swing (or vice versa can un-swing)...0

I filled up my car because of this about 10 days ago. It's now parked, ready and full as I have to make a 400 mile round trip to my parents for Xmas.0
