Peace is coming and then everyone can buy cheap Russian gas and the price will plummet until the next world catastrophe. [...]
I have to say that I think this is precisely the wrong reading of current events. [...]

Sarcasm doesn't travel well on a forum. Should of ended my original TIC

And I did read it initially thinking it had to be sarcastic, but then for some reason I wrongly concluded otherwise!

Anyway, for better or worse as a result I actually talked myself into starting a new thread on the Energy forum regarding 2 year fixes!
    "Considering a 2 year fix..."

    That's the one I use.

(Though I'm keeping my eyes more closely on Agile now, with the newer Tracker being significantly more expensive than Dec 23 that I left.)

Telegraph_Sam you'd post in the relevant threads for the fix you're on / the tariffs you're considering / any other relevant thread / or start a thread yourself if there isn't an existing relevant thread.

@Spoonie_Turtle To answer your question I actively follow this Tracker thread, slightly less frequently the Agile threaad, and now and again the Tomato. Having recently switched to the14-month Fix I feel homeless looking for a thread that is "relevant" for this. There must be many people in similar circs

There are also unknown unknowns - the one's we don't know we don't know

In which case the option of starting a thread yourself would be akin to making your own 'home', if there isn't an existing thread that suits what you want to discuss :)

I've just seen the recent suggestion from The_Groat_Counter:  "Considering a 2 year fix". No point in duplicating

Hi all, sorry if this has been done to death on here. I'm terrible at analysing pages and pages of the thread (get overwhelmed) and not a regular!

What would you do in my situation - I'm a bit of a technophobe and so confused about all the trackers, apps and so on! I'm on Octopus Tracker April 2024 v1, South East England, my gas annual is 6226kwh and my electric annual usage is 2,441 per year.

Should I fix on Octopus fix, another longer term fix with some other company, or remain on Tracker? My tracker ends in around June so I am a bit confused TBH. Please go easy on me and forgive my ignorance. Thank you in advance :)

Why don't you reply there then I wonder?

Why do you use this thread as an all you can eat buffet for everything you need?

Many have pointed you to the general energy board where there are lots of threads to help you or as others suggest create a new one.

    Asking for friend(s)
