Right, so the above is going from the fix to the variable, not tracker or agile, we all clearly accepted the terms when we signed up and hoping for any discount although would be lovely is unrealistic. I don't have high hopes for that, so I will now join the doomsayers point of view and say they wont.0

If the management are still working it out, then I don't see how the first tier call centre staff can be in a position to either confirm or deny these kind of things. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I don't rate octopus CS staff these days, service and knowledge gone rapidly downhill.
And if they are talking about tracker / agile it's guaranteed to be BS as in my experience they know very little about these tariffs, the caps or how they work, one tried to tell me the rate changes every half hour on Tracker.0 -

So not overly surprising.0 -

Yep take what a CS bod says with a pinch of salt, the stories I got told by CS reps on these tariffs are crazy such as things like they uncapped and only for people with solar panels.0 -

So not overly surprising.Switching customers to time-of-use tariffs used to be handled by a very small specialist team. Moving to Go Faster was by invitation to manage start times. My guess is these tariffs will now become less popular than they once were.
FWiW, am currently considering switching away from Go Faster and fixed SEG, to E7 and fixed SEG as the increase in the SEG rate almost matches the E7 offpeak cost post 1 October. I suspect that Octopus will be looking at this particular unintended consequence of the Government support package.0 -

It's been six days since submitting our meter reading, and I still have no bill for the month? They've charged the account, but there's no bill. I understand it likely takes longer than e.g. on the SVT or a fixed rate because they have to apportion use to each day (no smart meter - although they already have an estimate because my dashboard has a 'costs for today' that changes daily) but should it take this long?
