Free Halfords MOT

My 2012 107 just passed it’s free MOT at Halfords with an advisory of a nail in the rear tyre and tread a bit low so I’ll replace that ASAP. Couldn’t fault the service at the Cheadle Branch, in at 1:30 and then off for a bimble around B&M Home Bargains while they carried out the MOT.1

I hope you're going to complain at the flagrant pressure instilled upon you to spend wads of extra cash that you can ill afford at a time like this, and having paltry advisories just to make you get your wallet out. (P.S. Good to see it went through - and good to know there was a nail in the tyre - better now than going flat on the Motorway the next time you're in a rush - oh and my opening comment was tongue in cheek for all the naysayers that said how Halfords would fail everyone!)Nobbie1967 said:My 2012 107 just passed it’s free MOT at Halfords with an advisory of a nail in the rear tyre and tread a bit low so I’ll replace that ASAP. Did you cut and paste the whole code including the word FREEMOT? My code came back invalid if I just used the numbers"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0

When did you try and input the code ? as i think it had to be done before the 19th or 20th of this month.0 -

Last time I went to Kwik Fit they said I needed a £20 can of BG44K to pass the MOT.
Would never use any of these national chain fast fit places again.0 -
