I got both £3 max on my main long standing account and 50% off on my hardly used account which account should i use?allison445 said:seems to be a few different offers floating about this weekend I got the 50% off final value fees0 -
It depends on the value or projected value of the sale. I would say use the £3 max on items over £60 and the 50% off on items less than £60?1

How much would the final value fees be on the 50% off and on items £60 or lower?steviebabes said:It depends on the value or projected value of the sale. I would say use the £3 max on items over £60 and the 50% off on items less than £60?0 -
It would be about £4 on a £60 sale so maybe use the £3 offer. After a re-think £50 and less could be the sweet spot for the 50% offer.1

Are you including plus 30p on the 50% one?steviebabes said:It would be about £4 on a £60 sale so maybe use the £3 offer. After a re-think £50 and less could be the sweet spot for the 50% offer.0 -
Yes but it's a tricky calculation, I'm sure a mathematician could tell you the exact figure but it's getting a bit late lol.1

I got the 50% off fees offer which means I can make my drafts live... Really pleased as definitely would have passed on the max £3 offer.0

I believe that the cut- off point would be around £44.49. That would give you (at the usual 12.8% + 30p) selling fees of £6, when rounded to the nearest penny.steviebabes said:Yes but it's a tricky calculation, I'm sure a mathematician could tell you the exact figure but it's getting a bit late lol.
Anything over £44.49, use the £3 max offer, anything under £44.49, use the 50% off + 30p.
Disclaimer: I am not a mathematician or accountant, nor do I have a maths-based profession. I calculated this because it seemed to be a challenge I could cope with and between DH and I, we have both offers on our accounts 😊4 -
