  • just to clarify, I obviously sent the SAR to the data officer at ncp, should I be sending anything to the solicitor?
  • oh dear I told you I was stressed.  I sent the SAR to the solicitor by mistake.  They've actually sent me a courteous reply.  I've sent the SAR again to NCP.  Pass the merlot
  • ok I got a really fat A4 envelope full of photocopied stuff as per the SAR.  It must have been quite annoying for the office junior to put it together.  Do I still sit here and wait?  Thanks folks.

Wasn't the point of sending them a Subject Access Request to find out all the information they hold about you?

Instead of waiting (waiting for what?), why not read that information and see if there are any surprises in there?
  • I don't think there are any surprises.  We used the app and paid but chose the wrong car park, it was the other one half a mile away.  That gave NCP the appetite to demand a load of £££.  I have the pain of waiting to go to court with NCP and my missis screaming her head off every time she has a glass of echo falls
  • Heard again from BW after all this time.  I know what the answer will be from the forum (I think) but my OH is getting anxious with the harassment.  Lots of small type, a form with lots of boxes that looks very court-like, an income/expenditure form, and the warning that she has 30 days to complete and return or "it could result in court proceedings"
I keep saying that they've said this about a hundred times already but there you go.

I haven't filled any forms in or made any calls.  I did that disclosure thing already where they have to send you copies of absolutely everything.  Thankfully they don't have our phone number.

Am I right to carry on ignoring on the basis that if they were going to go to court they would have done so, instead of issuing all these "final" warnings?

Cheers, hope your weekend is sunny and peaceful

    Do not ignore.

You should continue to follow the guidance in the NEWBIES thread.

Now that you have received a Letter of Claim, the first few paragraphs of the second post on the NEWBIES thread explain exactly how to deal with it.
  • thanks Keith but I'm sure I've had multiple letters of claim already, exactly like this one??  I'll check that link now, cheers
  • yes just checked, I did the SAR ages ago, last year I believe.  I've had more than one letter of claim.

    Thanks Keith

Just repeat your response you sent last time saying any debt is denied and asking this time perhaps for a copy of the contract they allege was breached (the sign). Or whatever you wanna tell them!

You realise there will be a court claim but that's the stage you want because that's when cases are won?
