Simply search (Ctrl+F) the NEWBIES thread for court or small claim. You need to learn how to use the forum - we can't hold your hand every step of the way as it's your claim to defend, not ours.

Done my AOS, now going to use the template, I believe I only edit paras 2 and 3.  
Defence is that I PAID the correct amount for parking but made a mistake on the app and got the wrong site, hence the unfairness of the charge.

That is correct; resist the temptation to write war and peace, keep it short, punchy and legal/technical arguments only and you can tell the whole story (narrative) in the WS.  Was the site for which you actually paid the same PPC?  If so they have received money and at worst it will be a keying error OR was it perhaps a failure of the PPC's own App?  Do not be so quick to blame yourself, remember the burden of proof lies with the claimant!

yes the same PPC, we just punched the wrong bit of the screen on the mobile phone.  The amount was correct.
Now then the WS, that'll be witness statement - I haven't got that far yet

Your WS won't be required for some months yet, so nothing to concern you on that front at the moment. Concentrate on your Defence for now.

.......... and, as @Umkomaas writes, the WS is down the road a way; I wasn't trying to say you had to do the WS now, just making sure you knew that the story you keep for that stage and that it backs up and supports with evidence what you put in the defence.

doing my defence template now.  After careful reading of instructions, I'm not clear on whether to state that the defendant (my missis) was not driving, but I was.  Should she just admit to being the keeper?
