just one thing, sorry to be daft - I copied/pasted the reasons for not being heard on the papers but the box is too small and you can't read the second half, will they be able to see it? I can't find a way round it0

@B789 has recently advised to create a text box over the answer box, then paste the text using point 9 sizing. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

hi folks we now got "notice of allocation to the small claims track (hearing)"
this will be in about 4 weeks by phone. We have a deadline to file at court and serve on each other the written evidence we propose to rely on. Does that mean sending everything all over again?
I've read the 2 pages about 50 or 60 times and I think we don't need to do anything but could I just clarify what we need to send??
By the way, after getting loads of letters containing dire warnings and words to the effect of "give up now, we are going to win you know!!!" There came one final letter, saying just give us £100 now and we'll drop everything. I didn't know they had such kindness in their hearts LOL1 -

Please show us your draft WS based HEAVILY on the one by @baz417 and we'll help.
That's the current exemplar WS bundle!
Just replace his exhibits 1 - 3 and his 7 and 8 and put in your own wording and exhibits, but keeping in the standard ones he shows (4, 5 & 6). Obviously his facts section needs changing to your own WS story in the first person.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

thanks coupon, just to clarify, does this mean sending all the stuff we've already sent all over again? I can't see that anything new will be added?0

No it does not mean sending the same stuff again.spencer999 said:thanks coupon, just to clarify, does this mean sending all the stuff we've already sent all over again? I can't see that anything new will be added?
You have already filed a Defence.
Now you need to file with the court and serve on the Claimant your Witness Statement and evidence.
Is this not explained in the second post of the NEWBIES thread?0 -
Sorry but if you just bung over the defence again you'll be in breach of the Hearing Order.spencer999 said:thanks coupon, just to clarify, does this mean sending all the stuff we've already sent all over again? I can't see that anything new will be added?
You were expecting this stage. It's clearly stated in the NEWBIES thread as vital.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

sorry but with the way things are at the moment since we had a horrendous family tragedy I'm struggling to navigate the newbies thread. I'm looking at the half dozen or so pinned threads at the top of this section but couldn't find the draft WS by baz417 - also the bit about what's vital for the hearing - is it too much info to copy/paste on here ?? Help is appreciated hopefully there'll be a party at the end0
