called into the clearance store today - they have another big promotion on of all new season ranges reduced to £2

member of staff on the door explaining the offer, each ticket has a code, if its S09 then its £2

loads of stuff. formal ranges from £20 odd down to £2, dresses down to £2. jeans, shirts and jumpers for men down to £2. even their home ranges down to £2

not sure how long will last though, was really busy

My son works in a Matalan clearance store. He quite often buys clothes to go out in if he's going out straight after work (whole outfit, including trainers, £10).

He bought a lovely patio set for the garden (large table, four chairs, umbrella, well made) for £25 this summer.

Oh I have never been to the Renfrew one I will need to pop in and have a good rummage! Do they have any of their party ranges there??

Went today and got some stuff for family. Definitely worth a visit. A lot of ladies wear but not much in plus sizes. Once you figure out where the S09 codes are you can get some great buys.

Rummer- they have a new dressy range Be Beau. If you are young and size 14 or under you will get a few dresses.

Managed to find the shop today and got lots of bargains.

The guy in front of me bought over £200 of stuff!!

Managed to get a few more pairs of school traousers for my DS - £1.75. Lot's of shoes, though not in my small size. Lot's of baby stuff. They also have halloween stuff reduced

Now we know where it is, I would defo go back again!

scottishf - I think it stands for Summer 09 as they have W08, SO8 etc in store. They started off selling all SO9 stock at £2.00 and then they cut it back to certain lines excluding Rogers and Rogers, Be Beau and a lot of the better looking lines. I think the offer was due to finish at the weekend. If you go in would appreciate knowing if there are any new offers.

Was in Matalan to-day picked up skirt £3-50p tag took it to cash desk and it was £7 explained to assistant that there were plenty all with either £2 or £3-50p I was told some story of them being older stock. Still felt if £3-50p tag thats the price I should have been able to buy it at Or am I being petty?

That happened to me aswell, sticker said £5.00 and I was charged £8.00 I brought it up and they advised they would not amend!

Has anyone been to Matalan Clearance recently. Forecast is terrible for tomorrow so thought a trip might be a good way to pass the day. The problem is that it is so hit and miss esp in Rogers and Rogers.
