yesterday wasn’t bad. Picked MrWW up from the garage and we went to John O’Groats. I didn’t go in any of the shops as I had dog with me, but she had a sniff around. I expect it’s in the dog guide books as the place to have the most northerly wee 🤣 She had enough after 10 mins and started angling back to the car in true my dog fashion…so I read my kindle with her while MrWW played with his camera. We picked up burgers for lunch so all was well with the world.
I hardly slept last night and have been feeling bloated and a bit ugg, so am thinking I need to get back on the slimming world band wagon ☹️

Today is planned as an NSD. I want to write out a meal plan and upload some photos.

Sounds like you've had a lovely week off. 

Before joining SW again. Have you looked at Jason Manford? Yes he's the comedian but he's lost a couple of stone recently. He has a weight loss group on FB. The group has been going for years and is a really supportive one. Worth having a look at.

Thanks Naomim. I’m not planning to pay, have just dug out the books and refreshed myself on the basics (veg good, chocolate bad 😢). I hadn’t heard about Jason Manford, so will have a look now, thank you.

I used to go for a walk with two dog owning friends. The one that had a big dog lived quite close to the park. About 20 minutes into the walk we'd realise that we hadn't seen the other friend's labrador for a while. When we walked back to "close to the park" friend's house the lab would be sat on the step waiting for us. He just thought he'd walked far enough....Yours sounds similar 😂

In other news I am also trying to stay off crisps chocolate and junk food for the rest of this month (taking it month by month, the long term time scale is a bit scary).

@WinterWarrior the group is made up of people using all different methods. SW, WW, keto, 5:2, CC.  He's lost weight through CC but talks a lot of sense about it and is actually active on the group.

@CRANKY40 when she was young and active I could never get her to walk, we would either rampage around the countryside with me running behind her, or she would be sniffing and digging and refusing to budge. The joys of a stubborn hound you can’t lift 😬. Now she is a bit limpy she prefers to sit in my car and sneer at pedestrian dogs as she passes by. Even at her favourite place (the beach) she will have a 10 minute dig and paddle and then be heading back to her car. 

Staying off junk food is hard. I really need someone to stand in my kitchen slapping my hand, rather than just talking sense!
