It's always the way with decorating. We've just had downstairs utility/toilet painted and put new lino down and in October having front room and kitchen painted.

On the positive, no artexed ceilings in sight, consistent skirting, coving, painting pretty much everywhere! Garden next year 😂
How wonderful that must be! Our ceilings are wallpapered with bumpy wallpaper, the walls seem to be boarded and taped rather than skimmed. I think it’s the highland way, but it’s really hard to get things to look smooth and seemless.
Evri have had some of my needed decorating supplies since the 5th at the local depot. It’s so frustrating. I complained to the company who said they don’t chase the deliverers, just presume lost and resend….I fully expect multiple items….eventually 😖
and how is it that every cheap decorating job always seems to cost a fortune? It’s one of life’s little mysteries.
We all seem to have the decorating bug.
