@Elisheba here’s to ‘sensible June’ 😅 I’m sure we’ll be brilliant next month.
@beanielou it’s always the luck of the draw with sizes, your 14’s could be smaller than my 12’s! The inconsistencies with sizes (even in the same shops) really don’t help anyone’s body image 😖
i really wanted a peshwari naan tonight so had to sacrifice the actual meal to come in on calories 🤭 it was practically a spoonful of the tikka masala and a spoon of rice so I had the calories for the naan, but it was delicious 😋Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Happy Thursday everyone ☀️🌞
I’ve managed to get prolific up to just over £5, with another £2 awaiting validation. That means I could have a very small spend while still sticking to my no spend for the rest of May rule. Pay day can’t come soon enough, although I do not want to wish away the long weekend!MrWW’s shifts are falling over weekends for some time now, I think we only have 2 free in the next 2 months. He will no doubt enjoy his weekdays pottering about, but I just end up doing jobs on my weekends 😖
I hope you are all having a good day ☕️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Happy Friday ☕️☕️☕️
I had such a manic day, but 3 days off now. I finished watching Bridgerton Queen Charlotte tonight. Lovely and a bit sad. I can’t wait for the next one.I’ll need to get some steps in tomorrow as I’ve really struggled to fit many in with work this week. The weight went down a bit this morning, but I’m still not anywhere near dropping the next pound. Why is it so hard? It will be Christmas before I get to my target at this rate 🙄 I could just eat a slab of cake right about now 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Size 12 isn’t exactly plus size so cut yourself some slack ☺️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Happy Saturday everyone. It’s quite dull and overcast here. I have taken some shortcrust frozen pastry out to defrost, with an idea of making corned beef and potato pasties. I did get a shock when I put the pastry into the calorie tracker…it will basically be a big pasty and not much else today 😖
I went down 0.2 this morning, but still half a pound to go before the next pound…soul destroying it is! (Said in best Yoda voice).
I have a new audio book, so I am heading out to the garden with the hound, I shall March around and dog will roll about and try to sneak off to eat long grass when I’m facing the wrong way….all the better for yanking it out of her bum later 😖
I hope you all have a wonderful day ☕️☕️☀️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Happy Sunday ☕️☕️
MrWW is very good at emptying the dishwasher when he gets home and is pretty quiet, but by the time he’s asleep by about 7am I’m wide awake. All the cats start crawling all over me thinking about pre breakfast Dreamies 😖
I did end up spending on my favourite pr1me site last night, but deleted a lot from my basket and ended up just with some chewy multivitamins, biscuits and bargain small calorie snacks. They will come out of my new months budget on Wednesday. I have paid them straight away, but will transfer the funds back. It was about £30 so could have been a lot worse. I’m still vaguely annoyed with myself that my savings went down in May and must move forward in June. I also need to get a grip on my pots again so I’m set up for next years annual charges.I have absolutely no idea what I’ll do with myself today! I could do with deep cleaning the porch/entrance room, but I’m not sure I’m feeling it 😬Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

That's some good restraint taking bits out of your basket. I try not to go on unless I need something. Rarely browse. It's too dangerous 😁
Keep building the pots up. It's one area of my dfw journey I've been really good on and it's a load off my mind when insurance etc is due and I know the pennies are there or almost there!Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again2
