  • Good morning and happy Wednesday ☕️☕️☕️ Today the scales went up 0.5 for no reason and refused to budge on second and third try!!! I have been sticking to calories so I’ve no idea, but hopefully it will drop back off. I have tomorrow booked off and we will be lunching out, so I will need to be careful! I really want to get to 8lbs at the weekend. A pound a week is much slower than projected (I’m following a 2lb a week weight loss calorie plan), but what can you do 🤷🏻‍♀️.
The cat wasn’t in the garden this morning, so I’m hoping he went home. He spent nearly all day with us yesterday. Dog was looking for him under the bushes. The wild pheasants aren’t a bit bothered if the cat is there or not, so he’s clearly not a hunter.
I hope you all have a great day 🌟

Extra good luck @foxgloves and @Four_Seasons
MrWW isn’t feeling like joining in with me yet. There are downsides and upsides. The downside is he keeps eating snacks and offering me them 😖 The upside is that I can pile the extra food on his plate when I’ve weighed out my meagre portion!
It’s just so awful how it goes on in the blink of an eye, but takes what feels like years to take off 😟
One moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips?!  I have struggled all my life with my weight @WinterWarrior.  Being diagnosed with diabetes last summer was a huge shock  but I've managed to lose 2.5 stone and reverse it via low carb  and virtually no sugar.  Happy to talk about it on here though don't want to highjack your diary.  Or PM me if that's better.   You're doing brilliantly love Humdinger xx
  • My partner and I weighed in this morning so here we go! We are only eating between 9am and 5pm and cutting down on rubbish can't face calorie counting at the moment but we will see how we get on. Don't mind that 0.5 it will be gone tomorrow x

@Humdinger1 all hi-jacks are welcome here. I love to hear from everyone and we’re all friends here 😁 I’ve struggled all my life too. I’ve never got higher than a sz 14, but only because of my constant struggles! I struggle down to a 12 and if I let go of the reigns for a micro second I’m back up again. This time I reached the heaviest I’ve ever been…and let that be a lesson to me! Low carb and no sugar seems especially hard…they are my favourite things 😢 You did amazingly to lose all that weight and reverse diabetes. You should be so proud of yourself. I do worry about diabetes and all the health issues extra weight can bring. Do you have any good food swaps? I can’t face a life of lettuce, which is why I go for calorie counting so I can eat some bad things. My lunch today was a bag of jacobs crinkles, a satsuma and a tracker 😅. Breakfast was a banana and 2 biscuits 🤭 I often have porridge, but the extra calories for that do reduce what I can have later on.
@Four_Seasons not eating after 5pm seems brutal! I wouldn’t have time to make food after work….and then what about a small biscuit for supper? 😨

  • As long as you only eat in an 8 hour period you can choose what ever time you wish, if you could delay your breakfast it would give more time in an evening.  Last year I did it and dropped to under the next stone I was so pleased with myself, I relaxed and in a blink it all came back. I am coeliac a lot of treats I cant have (gluten free is expensive) and have a slow thyroid, so its always like rolling a boulder up a hill but spring/summer is on the way and summer clothes show a lot more than being cuddled up in layers for winter.  Have a good day, enjoy your meal tonight x
  • Interested in the weight loss talk. I actually don’t know what I weigh but I wear a 14 clothes and although I don’t want to get into a 12 as such I’d like to eat healthier and not put more weight on now I’m over 40 but at same time I’m lazy when it comes to cooking and like my junk food lol
  • @Four_Seasons it’s such a strange idea that you can eat the same amount, yet lose weight just down to the time you eat in. Or is it that you naturally eat less because of the window? Gluten free is expensive so that must be difficult. I have been avoiding bread for about 6 weeks, only having the odd wrap. I haven’t seen much difference from it though.
@Crazycatlady2 I love junk food too. Why is everything I like so bad for me? 😖 My ideal idea of healthy is just a small bar of chocolate 😁

  • I believe its the way your body works processing food it is also very good for your health but I do think I eat less because I cant cupboard dive in an evening.  I am totally with you on your idea of healthy eating x

Michael Mosley has done a lot on 8 hour eating slot. I’d say I generally don’t eat between 7pm and 9 or 10 am. Makes sense giving your body time to absorb what it’s eaten.

  • I don’t very often eat breakfast so lunch 12ish and tea about 7.30pm and snack at 5ish maybe
