I used to buy the green marzipan cakes when my mil came around - she loved them. I’m not sure if they still do them as I haven’t seen them for a long time….but I do try to pass the cake aisle very quickly.

I'm here for the ginger biscuits and tea....which won't help my own weight loss dilemmas....in 8 months i've managed to lose 5.5 kilos, which is just over 12 pounds,,,,why is it so much easier to gain weight than to lose?!

It’s one of the cruelties of life. I only have to sniff a ginger biscuit to put a pound on, but it takes a week of starvation to drop it back off. I used to keep my eye on my weight (to a certain extent, I’d fight off the same half stone 😬), but took my eye off the ball for a few years..oops! 12lbs is a good loss.

Good morning and happy Tuesday ⭐️☕️☕️☕️
Back at my desk and here we go again! I have put the heating on straight away. Yesterday I had a no heating day and just wore my oodie, but my fingers were like icicles all day and my nose was cold out of the blankets overnight. I think just having it on for a while helps with the overall arctic temperature. I can tell the level of cold by the quantity of cats under the quilts. Last night I had a permanent one in my arms with his bum on the water bottle and one on my head. I think MrWW had another on his feet and then we have one that sleeps in his box (like a windproof cat box, with a doorway and a lid, packed with blankies). The others bully him so he likes to sleep in his box on the chest of drawers, warm and out of the way.
Today my weight stayed the same, but I glared at the scales and stepped back on, where they realised the error of their ways and dropped 0.2 🤣 I have clearly reached a new low, intimidating household objects.
Just work today and nothing exciting planned.

You mean person intimidating household scales 😂😂😂😂 can you come and make mine say nice figures to me pretty please. 😂😂 I’ve purposely stayed away from mine though and am only going to weigh once a week 👍

Try the Paddington hard stare @milann, the one Aunt Lucy reserves for people who’ve forgotten their manners. It seems to work well on evil scales 🤣
