They'll get in any small hole @WinterWarrior!  You need to follow the slime trail and work out from there where they're coming in.  We had the same problem a few years ago and found the minutest hole around a pipe (which we'd already put expanding foam round but must have missed a tiny bit!).  Once that was sealed we've not had a problem thankfully!

Thanks @joedenise. I wonder if it’s behind the range cooker…I’ll have to have a proper look at everything - or get a pet hedgehog!

Never the doors as we have house cats. The windows tilt when it’s hot, but not enough for a slug to catapult in unless it’s a ninja slug…and where would they hide during the day?? So odd!

Mine came in through where the washing machine water went out but on the outside of the pipe.  I only ever caught one in the salt though.  Just hope the blue tack (well actually white tack) filling the hole holds up.

I didn’t realise slugs were such a common problem 😕
I bet they are infiltrating kitchens across the kingdom in some kind of world domination take over 😮

I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend. It’s overcast here, but fairly warm. 

My Poooli came yesterday and I’ve set it up and done some test pictures with the roll that was in it.I will swap it over to a sticker roll once I’ve got the hang of it. It’s such a cute toy. B&W, but the photo’s still come out ok and you can adjust the brightness, etc. Just the thing for sticking in my journal to remind me of what I’ve done, where I’ve been and anything fun. Even things like little pictures of menu’s when we go out will be great reminders (I do like to catalogue my food more than I should 😅). Less than the price of a lunch out and will keep me entertained.
MrWW is sleeping from night shift so all is quiet here apart from small sobs from a terribly neglected Labrador. I may take her out to fill the bird feeders as the jackdaws have taken to coming in gangs of at least a dozen to clean out the fat balls as soon as they spot them 😁 The peanuts last longer as the small birds are a bit daintier about it.
