Eleven hours and counting 😳 my test fruit is still squishy. I’ll have eaten it all on tests before it’s finished 😬
on another note, I really need to diet, the holidays did me no good. I got on the scales this morning and we both cried…the scales even more than me 😖
I see that the interest rates have increased again. I feel so sorry for people on variable mortgages. It must be quite frightening. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Energy cost warnings keep getting worse and worse….and don’t get me started on food 😖 a small bottle of sunflower oil was just short of £2 this week in L*dl. It’s been a while since I’ve bought any, but that felt like a massive increase. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning and happy Friday 😊
I stopped the dehydrator when I wanted to sleep…everything was ‘almost crispy’, but still not quite done through, so on the chewy side. I will have to do more research!
Today I will be taking MrWW to collect his car as it has been having some work this week. We may go out for lunch as it’s our last day, but I will try to make good choices! I now have 2 stones to lose 😳 I can’t believe how bad it’s become. I had an Alpen light for breakfast and will be counting the calories.
I hope you all have a fabulous day ☕️🍫🧁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Well we went out for lunch and back and then went out with dog to pick up MrWW’s car…and all my warning lights came on 😡 it seems intermittent and hopefully just a sensor on the tyre sensors/abs or something, but I won’t know until I can book it in to a garage and of course today is my last day off. There’s no garage in walking distance so it’s going to be a pain trying to fit around work and MrWW’s shifts for drop off and collection…and that’s without thinking about the cost. Sigh! MrWW has checked all the tyre pressures and I’ll run a reset, but if that isn’t it (and it’s not likely) some major planning and cost will be involved. Think MrWW gets grumpy that I can’t/won’t take liberties at work and book in without checking that I’m ok to take time off to do that…as he disappeared into his room muttering about it being my car (so basically my problem), which tbf I fully agree with, but still seems a bit mean. So, that was my day!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

How annoying about the car. Hope it's not too serious."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1

Call the car repair people and see if anyone lives close to you that could collect the car on the way in to work and drop it off again later. The people where I take my car do this for me - the mechanic just leaves his car on my drive and we swap them over when he finishes work. Even if they don't do it usually and you pay them a bit extra to collect the car, it may be preferable to the massive upheaval that taking it yourself causes?2
