Happy hump day WW!  I am on leave after today so i've got that Friday feeling
My Dad and SM stayed with me last week so I had a tidy house (after a frantic weekend making the house presentable - it was nice to see them, they took me out for tea and my SM made the tea every day as i was either out at work or wfh.  I did enjoy being home alone on Friday eve though .

@Deni_debt-free_dreamer do you have plans for your days off? Visitors are lovely, but tiring too. We are so far away it’s all or nothing, so a full week of visits, trips and eating out will be exhausting 😁 We have a gin distillery tour booked 😛. A few years ago we did a whiskey distillery tour and it was fun and interesting 😁

My friend took her hubby on  a whiskey distillery tour in Scotland for his 60th birthday, they loved it!
I am doing some of my self employment work tomorrow but meeting an old work friend for lunch on Friday - i will treat her as she was 60 in March.  Lots of my friends are turning 60 but that's ok as they have a few years on me

Two days to go until holidays….I think I can make it! 

I’m definitely ready for a break from work and even called a manager out (as carefully as I could) on blatant favouritism yesterday, which is unlike me. I normally quietly fume 😅I would if it was affecting me, but I don’t like it at all when I see it happening to someone else. If people aren’t looked after the same by management then it just looks like bullying to me. I’ve hopefully not muckied my ticket!

Enjoy your time off with the relatives, I know it's hard work, (especially if they stay with you), but I'm sure you'll remember it very fondly after the event!!
One of my dds and family descends on me every so often (usually Xmas) and I hate all the untidiness and being at someone's beck and call all the time but after they have gone and I've had a good moan it doesn't seem too bad, until the next time they decide to come!!!

Do you have trouble advocating for yourself though @beanielou? I do. I can stick up for the underdog, but never when it’s me 😖
They are in a hotel @nannygladys as we don’t have the room. We are often in bed by 8.30 watching tv, so the late nights will be a killer 😅
