Happy Saturday and good morning 🌞☕️📚🍫
It’s a bit rainy here today. I hope the gardening went well yesterday @CRANKY40.
@jokono cutting carbs 😮 That’s some of the best bits 😕
Lunch out today and food shopping, then I guess I should do some house work as work, work gets in the way. I think I don’t wear 95% of the clothes I own, either through sizing or fit or occasion…I really need to have a big clear out, but the thought of starting it 😢 I’m a hoarder when it comes to hard earned things …sigh. I even struggle to throw out damaged/broken things.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend filled with all the good things you deserve 📚☕️🍫🧁

    Good morning 🌞

I love carbs, I think I could live on bread and potatoes. I ate half the bag yesterday, that's about 1200 calories 😱

I went back to sleep after Boy2 woke me up at 5.55 and slept until 8.50 when MrJKN came to wake me up as I had to go swimming with Boy2. It was all very traumatic, I'm now back from swimming and having another coffee trying to recover.

MrJKN is very hyped, he wants to paint the kitchen this weekend. He's already stripping the cupboards and I have to go get paint after my coffee. It's not the first time he comes up with ideas like this and it's very frustrating for the organising/planning me but to be honest that's how you get things done. We did the upstairs bathroom last year for about £5-600, similar thing - I woke up one morningand he already had it all figured out. We inly painted the tiles and changed the tub cover / screen and sink+cabinet and laid laminate flooring that looks like tiling but it looks totally different.

I'll try and find some enthusiasm now. 🥱

Oh no @jokono…couldn’t he wake you when it’s all been done 😡
MrWW doesn’t do decorating, so I get to do it all. I could do with doing my office as it’s been a good 6 years since the kitten stripped bits of my new wallpaper off, but I can’t quite find the enthusiasm 😬
it was Italian week at Lidl, so I had to get some different packs of biscuits to sample 😋

Good luck with the clothes.  I have a load to do as well.  I do mine fairly frequently, but am realising that I've been putting the same things back in the drawers for years 'because I might need them' and I haven't needed them at all in the meantime, so they are just taking up much-needed space!

    Happy Sunday everyone ☕️📚🧁🍫
No clearing out yet, but dog had her drive. It was a bit grim, but I put her window down between showers so she had all the sniffs. Then I went for a big walk to add my steps, but seriously, I walked for ages and am still only sitting at 5339 😡 I went nearly to the beach and then uphill up a country track and then doubled back following a track along the forest. I’ve seen a deer there before and various creatures, but today it was just birds..and cows in the fields at the other side. It was overcast, but still nice…I just think Fitbit is lying 🤣
Dog was sad that she couldn’t come, but she can’t manage walks now and MrWW was relieved he didn’t go, because walking!
I hope you are all up to lovely happy things today 🌞

Well done on the walk!  It sounds lovely.  Do you know roughly how far you walked?  It's about 2000 steps to a mile, so you might be able to work out if your fitbit is lying.  My DH constantly moans that his phone doesn't give him enough steps - the same walk can vary quite a bit!

Hmm, I just tried to measure it on google maps with my fingers, maybe it was only about 2 and a bit miles…it felt longer 🙄 darn it!

  • I feel your pain with the step count. I walk to work most days, half an hour each way and only average 8,500 steps a day. I’m sure it should be more!! It’s uphill on the way there so that’s got to count for extra surely 🤣🤣 xx

Yes @southern_chick! Uphill should be double! I’m on 9340 now as I changed the bedding and vacuumed the bedroom, then bumbled around a bit. I’ll try for 10k before the day is out.
