WinterWarrior said:@moving_forward £20 a week seems tight for chocolate AND craft stuff 😧
I tried and failed with £50 a week some time ago, but it’s not a bad idea to try again with a small contingency. Clothes and alcohol and books would also come out of this. Books and chocolate tend to be my biggest vice 🫢
So week one. Do you NEED any clothing? Use the £50 for that or keep half to one side towards more expensive items like shoes coats etc. Keep back say tenner towards choc and booze.
Week two. You stuck to budget in week one so now the £50 is yours to spend on good stuff. Buy an Amazon gift card for £40 to use when you see books etc you want. Again £10 choc and booze.
Week three. Time to go back to needs. Anymore need putting aside for that winter coat? Yup stuff that £25 away for expensive clothing. Buy a pack of knickers at the supermarket £10 that leaves £15 for choc and booze. Ah but you still have some choc left from week one and two. Ok now the £15 is put towards the month end blow out.
Week four. Well done you made it this far. Is it a five week month? Yes. Ok another £40 on the Amazon gift card. £10 choc and booze (you ate the stores last week).
Last week of the month time to party. £300 budget less week one to four/five plus the £15 you saved in week 3. Now it's all yours to blow on crafts choc gifts anything you want. 😘Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

Good morning and happy Tuesday ☕️📚🍫
a white chocolate twin sounds excellent to me!I only buy the odd clothes item once or twice a year, so I don’t think I need to worry about that.
I had to go into town first thing to collect MrWW as his car is in the garage, but now it’s ready so I’ll have to squeeze in another trip at lunchtime 😧 Dog is happy though!

Lovely and sunny here but still a but nippy without a jumper. Chocolate, sorry I'm Cadburys all the way but dd3 preferred galaxy, but honestly if someone gives me galaxy I wouldn't turn it down
I need to give my shed a good clear out, I haven't the foggiest what's in there from about halfway back! And also the airing cupboard as dd1 wants to start putting 'C' presents in there!
