@Humdinger1 I’m so glad to see you 🌈 I love reading everyone’s ideas and no one is barking compared to me 🤣 I am still really struggling with saving, I seem to manage one or two months and then self sabotage in some form or another. I’m mostly hovering around on what I was left with after paying off my debts and really want to increase this. The only good thing is that when something vile hits (pot hole I’m looking at you) I can cover it now without resorting to plastic. I took it from my mot and service pot, which was fully funded (barring disasters) for July and is now looking very sorry for itself! So at the end of the month I will have to fill that back up before adding to savings. The annoying thing I find is that instead of living pay day to pay day to pay debts, I now seem to live pay day to pay day to just stay where I am! Sigh 😖

Well good morning and happy Friday 🍫☕️📚🌈 Where did my week off go 😢
I can’t drive myself anywhere until after Tuesday now (the joys of living in a small place with limited tyre repair choices) so we’ll be staying in unless MrWW fancies an outing. There are lots of jobs I could be doing, but ‘holidays’! I’m considering eBaying my radley picture bags. I have lots from over about 15 or 20 years (maybe 10, I’d have to count them). I love them all, but they just sit in their dust bags and rarely see the light of day. I tend to carry everything around in a Mai tui rucksack 🎒. Some of them represent hard times when they were the only happy things in my day to day life, so I’m not sure if I should part with them…but then they are taking up space. It’s hard! I’d love to be minimalist, but I’m a natural hoarder!
I also need to sort out my clothes…I could use old ones for quilting, but the will to tidy is not strong!
I hope you all have a fabulous Friday with all the good things you deserve 📚☕️🍫🧁

  • No mentioning lovely back packs. Of course I've had to Google them as I only use backpacks these days. I am now in love with the "Emily" something else to lust after 💖

  • We tend to use holidays to sort tidy and catch up as well. Such is the life when you both work full time. Ban all tidying for today and go play with the bunnies x

I have the Emily in red. It’s fabulous, if a bit heavy (but that might be all my stuff). The purse pocket at the back, the key clip and the safety fastening for the zip are my favourite things!

I’ve got a Mia Tui rucksack for work, a cross body bag and the travel bag, the travel bag is the best one I’ve ever used. I also have 3 Radley bags, plain not picture, and a Radley purse 😁
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

I have a couple of cross body bags in different colours from the deals they do, but I haven’t actually used them. They are nice to look at though. I also have some plain radley bags, but I guess they won’t hold their price the same as pictures (and I’ve used them for every day😁)

@moving_forward we are, which is why I will remind you the free cross body bag offer is still on when you buy a rucksack. I got mine last summer I think, so it’s an ongoing offer and such good value (if you need a bag) 🎒😬 I justified mine for the safety features, I’m a bit paranoid about safety and where my keys and purse are 😬 I always keep the doors locked when I’m inside too (don’t want anyone pinching my chocolate stash or letting my animals out).
