  • Oh my gosh, now i want a mia tui backpack!  Would be so handy for walking to work.  So sorry about the tyres WW - I feel your frustration for different reasons, we had to replace all 4 of ours a few weeks ago though not for potholes.

Thanks @[Deleted User], you know they don’t last forever, but it’s still a blow when you need them. The backpacks are very good and solid, I think they’ll last a very long time, so quite MSE 😁

@elbree we crossed posts. I’m a sucker for a snowy scene 😁 You have remaining money? That’s amazing, well done you ⭐️ Is it close to your pay day, so you can squirrel it away? I still have nearly 3 weeks to mine.
@carolbee have a lovely time with your son. I would love to have a nice garden, but I don’t have enthusiasm for the actual work involved 😢
Not close to payday at all! That's why I MUST put it somewhere but feel anxious about it being out of reach, but if it's not out of reach I'll probably spend it. I'm in St@rbucks right now spending it 😬😬! I normally love Saturday mornings on my own but feel a bit lonely today so have come out to be surrounded people - a bit sad I know! 😕

@elbree that sounds lovely. MrWW took us out for lunch, but when we came home I sat with him and he got up to go play in his office 🙄 so I’m sitting on my own now with no idea what to do with myself! I was scrolling prices on flea bay to see what I might get for my stuff and if it’s actually worth the effort. I suppose it is, just to de clutter, but since they changed from paying people via PayPal I’m a bit meh about putting in my bank details. I presume now you also have to send the stuff of before the money gets to you…I’m not sure!

  • Hi WinterWarrior - did you have something yummy for lunch?  Have you ever tried v!nted for reselling? I haven't but am thinking about it.

Hi deni, I haven’t tried vinted either. I think unless it’s a decent value, the extra postage can outweigh gains sometimes, as I have to use the post office and I prefer to get things signed for so there’s no doubt I sent it. I know with the bay I’ve put down a postage price and then paid more, just to be safe. Although really, even making a few pounds is a win when decluttering…I guess I should give my head a wobble!
I had a beef, onion ring and seasoned Mayo baguette and chips. Only had half the baguette (they aren’t big, but are filling) so I could bring back the leftover beef for dog, as tradition dictates!

I just use a separate bank account for the ebay stuff.  They send the money the day after the item is paid for and it's in the bank the same day so it's very quick.

There's really no point in sending signed for, there's no extra protection (unless the item is worth over £20 so it's only the insurance value).  You get a delivery confirmation and tracking number with 1st and 2nd class parcels, so if you add the tracking number into ebay then you've got exactly the same protection as you'd get with signed for but without spending the extra £1 or whatever it is.

Some good ideas @jwil, thank you. I didn’t realise you could get a tracking number without paying for recorded. I procrastinated all afternoon, so no sorting or listing done yet 😖

Good morning and happy Sunday ☕️📚🧁
im at that point in my week off where I’m waking up listing all the things I need to be doing at work 😖
No dog drive today as the tyres can’t be done until Tuesday, so I’ll have to take her for an extra long trip next week to make it up to her. I also need to fill up the fuel, then I’ll see what I have left for the month (not much). I also have 3 Mother’s Day presents to cover. I do hope April is a better money saving month!
MrWW is still moaning on about his ‘big expensive thing’. Yesterday it included ideas I could participate in again…that’s a big fat nope from me 😬
Dog is still refusing the ramp, but managed to jump on the bed at about 3am, after much whining and the lamp on, so I was squished and she was happy 😁
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday filled with happy things ☕️📚🌈🍫
