I decided a couple of months ago that I was going to stop bothering to sell stuff, I was doing a bit of ebeast and ziff@t and just hated the stuff lying around, the feeling of guilt I hadn't listed it and then the hassle of posting. I did make a few quid but found it too stressful.  Now it's just straight to a CS and I feel mentally much better. One less thing to feel bad about!
Quiet day here, Ex supposed to be taking 8yo swimming. Have s horrible feeling he's not going to show so trying to manage expectations 😬😬. We're making a diamond painting thing she was given for her b day. Will try not to spend money! Have lovely days!

@elbree I’ve done a lot of charity shop clearing, but then realised it might be better to try and recoup something. I know what you mean about the stress and hassle though.
  It’s awful being let down, I hope your daughter does get to go swimming.

From personal experience, all fathers who don't turn up when their children are expecting them should have a special corner of hell reserved for them where they can be roasted mercilessly. Your child at least has a good mother. Sorry - rant over!

There should be another special corner in hell for the ones their children ring & they say I have someone with me at the moment, I will ring you back, 30 years ago ..........  Some just will never change or even attempt to behave like human beings.

He didn't come 😕
As you can imagine not a great day but she's a little trooper and we talked about how to handle it so it wasn't really a surprise (sigh). On the plus side we did lots of lovely crafting we've been meaning to do, some baking and was a NSD as we stayed in all day (in case he came).

You are all so right. I was married to one of those men before. In the end I did and paid for his share…I always said it was like they just had 2 mums. All those years of weekends of picking up and looking after his kids while he drank at his work (and they still always said they’d been to their dads/their dad had bought them this/their dad took them to xy or z…it used to drive me mad, but now I look back they were just trying to kid themselves, bless them).

Good morning and happy Monday….work today ☹️🌈⭐️📚
I will have lots to get on with and catch up with, so I’m expecting a very busy day today, but definitely an nsd! I’ll need to update my money spreadsheets and catch up on my journal too. 

I didn’t get any baying listing done yesterday, but may have a quick go at lunchtime.
