@WinterWarrior We should be on Mull today but the weather forecast is so bad that CalMac said we might  not get back this evening. Forced to sit in  a cafe in Oban and eat meringues with raspberries. It's a hard life... Is it very windy where you are?
It’s really wild. You’ve probably dodged a bullet there. I love meringues!

Wilko's do dog stairs. M_F dog started to slip the odd time so we got her some. They are fab. She can now come and go as she pleases.
Do they have big dog versions?
It's one size but I think they would be ok as they are quite large.

Good morning and happy Wednesday ☕️🍫📚 Where is my week off going? 😮
Lunch out was lovely yesterday and then we watched The Courier on prime. Based on a true story and good, but grim! Benedict Cumberbatch played a very good part. He’s believable in whatever he does.
I’m not sure what the plans are for today. At the moment I am pinned under a small cat who’s padding and sucking my jumper. He’s 7, but still a baby.
it’s still really windy by the sound of it.
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday 🌈☀️📚🍫☕️

One of my cats, sadly now departed, used to suck clothes and dribble all over people's shoulders. It must be a throwback to kittenhood.

Just nipped on for a quick cry….I hit a pot hole yesterday, avoiding a pot hole at one side of the road meant hitting one in the middle as I couldn’t get any further over because of oncoming traffic. Today the tyres were dry and I could see damage on the side wall. I will replace the front two as it’s safer on high performance cars, so that’s well over £300 I hadn’t budgeted for 😢…and it can’t be done until next Tuesday 😖 So all my best laid plans of saving more this month have been scuppered as I’ll need to take this back out. If I’m very good I will still have an increase in the month, but not nearly as much as I was hoping for.
In other news I got a lovely hyacinth pot from L*dl for the kitchen windowsill today from MrWW along with some food bits.
I hope you are all having a good day 📚☕️🍫

  • @WinterWarrior That's awful. Scottish roads are in a shocking state. I can sympathise with your car woes. I limped home from Oban, crashing gears up hill and down glen. Diagnosis - new clutch needed. £450 is the cheapest replacement I can find. Funeral plan postponed yet again - I shall try not to die in the next few months... o:)

Funeral plan or an actual funeral?  If a plan then wait for the new legislation to come into effect to safeguard your cash.  I have bought my actual plan which tells them what I want, control freak to the very end (& beyond)!
