I love how true to life those villages are…perhaps I should get my real wild garden bunnies a hot air balloon and an ice cream parlour? Am I letting them down here?
@Carolbee I hope you have a ribbon to cut for the fridge door opening ceremony?
    @Deni_debt-free_dreamer enjoy your picnic 🧺
You're definitely letting them down @WinterWarrior. I'm amazed they put up with it! Tbf we also have a few ice cream places but also more than two houses 😂
Deni - country park sounds lovely, enjoy the spring weather!

@Naomim So glad for you. When I see all those poor Ukrainians driving west away from the bombing, I feel more determined than ever to hang on to my car.

The downside of being on an island is there’d be nowhere to drive away to, but the plus side is it’s a bit safer from invasion. It just doesn’t bare thinking about.
    Happy new car @Naomim

This evening when I walked dog around the garden at dusk there was a bird silhouetted in one of the tall trees singing it’s little heart out. Our garden is teeming with birds and wildlife, but this little guy was giving it his all. He had a huge range of notes and calls. I guess it’s time for pairing up for spring, but it just made me so happy to see and hear him. It was a happy moment…..and then I had to pick up dogs poo in a bag 🤣

There are ferries to Ireland - a neutral country and not a member of Nato. They trust  Bawjaws as much as I do.

Good morning and happy Sunday 📚🍫☕️
I’m undecided if dog will get her drive today, but as I’m on leave this week she will get one at some point. Last night she lost her jump and couldn’t get on the bed. She’s too big to lift and sat there moaning for me to do something. Then at about 4am she got out of her bed and started moaning again (she wants the lamp on to see if she’ll jump on a cat) so with much encouragement and wide awake finger snapping, calling and smoothing of the bed covers she found her jump again and got on 😁 She’s a pain, but she’s my pain! Anyway later she got off when MrWW came in and took her out and then jumped straight back up with no issues. I think if she aborts a jump for any reason (trips or gets her leg in the covers) then it knocks her confidence to jump again.
It was frosty first thing, but now seems nice and sunny.
I hope you all have a lovely Sunday ☕️📚🍫🧁

  • Morning WinterWarrior and friends

i had a lovely walk and chilly picnic thanks WW and elbree :)
Today it is sunny again so i shall get more washing on the line and am meeting another friend for a walk and coffee.
I also have some work to do for my PT jobs.
How lovely to be looking forward to a whole week off WW, do you have any (non spendy) plans?

My dog isn’t great at jumping on the bed now she’s older so I bought a padded storage box and put it at the bottom of the bed so it acts as a step for her. A plus is that I use it to store bedding.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Poor dog, its hard to watch isn't it?  We have rugs everywhere as our older boy slipped on the hard floor and was then frightened to go out as a result.
