Coffee and a couple of moo biscuits to kick start the day…the diet is going fabulously 🤣
A spend happened yesterday as I have sent some flowers to my mum for her wedding anniversary, it still needs noting without dad 💐 
I will try to get through today without spending for nsd2.

I've always thought if fit more into paganism. I don't confess to know much about it but think it's more about worshiping the earth and nature and that sounds good to me

Most religion's dietary rules are actually based on common sense & food hygeine, nothing to do with religion at all.  Shrove Tuesday eat up all the stuff hoarded over winter before it goes rancid.  Easter celebrate the coming of spring & so it goes on.

A friend earlier this week wished us all a happy eat your flour before the weevils get it day 😄

In my house that’s within a month of getting flour in….weevils are the devils beasts and I don’t know why they target me here, but I have to squint carefully before using even the newest of flours 🤣 Ive found them a few times and am veerrrryyyy suspicious of all flour now just in case 😬

Lots to do today to clear the decks for my week off 😖
I only slept about 3 hours last night and frittered lots of money on ‘wee small hours prime purchases’ 😮
Fentimans (2 flavours), bulk buy of m&m’s and galaxy orange chocolate, cat biscuits, a new address book and some golden washi tape 🤦🏻‍♀️ I can’t afford any more sleepless nights this month!!

A nocturnal shopper there!

today we are waiting for a new fridge to arrive, kitchen flooring to go down and a cycle to arrive that should have flown with our son, rather than go on it’s own little trip. Upside of that is they deliver straight to us, it’s one he’s borrowed when he moved abroad and is bringing back whilst on a work trip back to UK.

no choc here, trying to cut out crisps choc, and cake prior going to visit said son next month!

instead I’ve spent sweets money on going to see The Duke and Cyrano, both excellent films

@WinterWarrior - try putting your flour into a plastic bag and into the freezer for a day.  That will kill off any weevils or eggs in the flour.  It's certainly worth a try if you have a weevil problem.

That’s clever. We have a fairly new kitchen and I never had issues anywhere else, so I put it down to the far north atmosphere that sets them off. I’ve had a few colonies, even in airtight tubs, so I don’t store it for long now.

I liked the look of The Duke.
