I’m old enough to remember Walter’s Puffs 😆 I remember them selling them at my primary school at break time. They were 😋 I also remember the big boxes of biscuits, you could buy just one biscuit. This would’ve been very early 70s.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • I started school in 75, so it was about that time. You felt very rich if you could afford a fancy biscuit 😁

  • Good morning and happy Saturday 🌈☕️📚🍫
MrWW is in from night shift, but hoping to be up in time for a 3rd time lucky trip to the post office with me and a lunch out (MrWW’s treat). I have a lot less room when I have the bed to myself as all the fluffies like to lay on top of or leaned up to me. The large hound likes to spoon with her head on my knees 😖
I have great plans to do some cleaning and clearing, but for now I am drinking coffee and doing not much at all….that may well continue until lunch 😬
I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday will with happy things 📚☕️🍫⭐️

Good morning! Lovely and 🌞 here, tea in bed looking out on the flowers in the garden. Definitely work to be done out there but it's very 🥶 too and I am a fair weather gardener! Love the idea of cuddling up with all your creatures WW, I imagine you are a lot warmer than me!

Catching up on the dreadful news about Ukraine and signing petitions for sanctions. Then will get moving, some marking and a trip to drop off some stuff at a CS before 8yo comes home at lunchtime. Have raised 'my' pot to the tune of £150 this month! Quite cross with myself - even though I know that's what it's for! Have eaten out a lot, brunches etc. Need to not do that in March and to save for our Paris trip. Have good days all.

  • @elbree I also hate using my pots, but it’s really such a good thing to have the money there to raid, rather than using a credit card or overdraft. But I still get how awful it is that we then have to build the pot back up!
@Scottiedog_3 thank goodness! It was the muck that kept us warm 🤣

What's this talk of housework WW? You will be darning socks next 🤣🤣
We were up and out at 8 this morning for our dentist appointment at 9. He told me off for having plack between my teeth so I promptly told him thats why I'd been trying to get an appointment for the past two years!
