A big chunk of my CC debt was due to theatre trips and concerts - my DDs and i have seen loads of shows and bands - but it took me years to pay for all those tickets I have 4 things booked between now and May.  The friend who joined us last night has sent me a link to what's on at a nearby theatre - it's best for my bank balance if i don't look.....

@Deni_debt-free_dreamer it’s good that you recognise where the money went isn’t it? Now you know that paying up front for theatre trips as you can afford them is a much more enjoyable way to do it. When I fritter on my hobby, stationery, too much chocolate, etc. I feel guilty, but not half as guilty as I did when I was putting purchases on plastic 😬

WinterWarrior - I think we were only 12/13 years at the time and in those days just soooooo innocent

I have been doing housey things like washing, cleaning etc just the boring stuff that wears me out so spent the afternoon doing some knitting watching tv and not a cube of choc or a blackcurrent and liquorice sweetie in sight

Good morning and happy day off Monday 😁📚☕️🍫
Payday today , woohoo 🥳. It’s always that brief high of ‘I’m rich’, followed by all the transfers, waiting for dd’s and back to ‘oh no’ 😬
I have moved back the money I borrowed from Christmas, moved £20 overpayment to the mortgage, added back to the savings and later will add to pb’s. After dd’s I will be left with a pittance to get on with. If I stick to the pittance I can end the month with a decent increase for once, to make up for February.
Today we are on a trek to the next town to get cat litter….and look in b n m….someone hold my purse…I’m going in!! I would like to come out with a plant and some socks and maybe some goodies, but nothing else!

Good Morning WW, do you have a Wilkos?  They have some good plants inside and out and are reasonable.  Their range of plant pots are good too.  We brought a little monstera (swiss cheese plant) the other week.  I've wanted one for ages and will get lots of joy watching him grow and start to annoy Mr M_F when he gets too big like zebadee.  Yes I name my houseplants 😎

We don’t have a wilko’s…I think most big stores don’t like to venture too far north in case they are ambushed by Picts (seriously, it’s never happened to me, they’d be fine!).

I've never seen Neapolitan Cadbury! I'll have that please and Moo cow biscuits yes I'll take them thank you very much and the poppets.
