@moving_forward I was dead on 70, so have a few crucial years of 70’s doom to share….I also was just old enough at 10 to enjoy 1980 And all of the joy of being a teenager in the late 80’s. I feel sorry for anyone who didn’t get to enjoy leg warmers, ra-ra skirts and Frankie says (knock off) t-shirts 😁
Dentists are cheeky devils, I’m sure they make stuff up for extra money!

I'm from 73 and I think I had the best years, don't remember 3 day weeks and all that palava, hit teens in mid eighties and clubbing early 90's. Happy days.

Im also planning some hw today 😬. Building up the energy to take doggo for a walk around the block as MrM is taking her for a nice long walk this afternoon. I must go and have a shower! Putting it off as washing machine & dishwasher on and I'm likely to get scalded.😖

I had the ra-ra skirts back combed hair bad perm the lot. I grew up early nineties clubbing then went through a goth phase as you do.

I had a ra-ra skirt and hair so big it added about 6 inches to my height 🤣 I used to hang my head upside down hairdryer in one hand and can of industrial strength hairspray in the other 😆 

Someone mentioned Space Raiders yesterday, guess what I saw in Iceland today- frozen Space Raiders potato shapes 😆

I was born in the 60s, so i was a teen in the 80s, what a fab decade that was - i loved FGTH and Culture Club, Adam & the Ants were my absolute fave.

I have never had a space raider though!!

my first ever cassette tape was Adam and the ants when I was 12. I remember being all embarrassed to play a track called S.E.X in case my parents heard. ridiculous as my mum must have bought me it 🤣

That reminds me aged 9 or 10 asking my dad to buy me Madonna's Like A Virgin. I would just hum that word even though I didn't really know what it meant 😂
