I ate them both…and they weren’t anything to write home about…I won’t get another (looks sideways at the caramel galaxy set aside for Sundays treat)….2

@elbree I highly recommend a Monzo account on the side. If you go for the free account, you can still have as many pots as you like. You get a bank card, but mostly I transfer between that and my main bank account instantly when I need to spend a pots money. It’s really easy to open, you do it online and just do a tiny video declaration of who you are…weird! But it works so well for pots.I moved another £5 to the mortgage overpayment today, I’ve been slow this month with them.2

I have a creme egg left from last year & quite a lot of xmas choc left too. I found that swiss triangle choc in the cupboard but it was BB 6/21 and it didn't taste very nice so i've binned it. I'm eating celebrational chocs now as they were BB jan 22 so i better hurry up

@Deni_debt-free_dreamer i often have elderly chocolate I have to throw too, it’s probably time for another sort out. A while ago I ditched some matchmaker’s which were unopened from several Christmas’s ago…they had turned to crystallised goop 😬
good morning and happy Sunday ☕️📚🍫
Yesterday I went to town when the snow had melted, to post a parcel. The post office was shut for lunch….last week it was closed 12.30 for an hour, so I went later….this week it was closed 1.30 for an hour..how can anyone plan?! Maybe it will be 3rd time lucky next week 😬 The roads are dreadful right now, one pot hole just before the car park was so deep I swear I could see flames flickering inside it…I had to do this weird zig zag manoeuvre to get in the entrance without disappearing down into the depths of hell! To get out of our village there’s a section where it’s like playing a video game trying to avoid the big car damaging holes and on the country 60 mile roads you have to be vigilant looking for new ones…just terrible! I don’t think it’s ever been quite this bad before, bad, but not this bad.
I will probably take dog for a drive today and MrT comes later.

Morning WinterWarrior
That's annoying about the PO; the one nearest to me opens 8.30am - 5.30pm including Saturdays and the staff are really friendly; I used to go there even though there was one a 5 min walk away from me - which has now shut as the postmaster retired.
I bought a pine bookcase from Fb yesterday and a bedside cabinet from a CS last week, both are currently downstairs cluttering up the living room! So i need to take them upstairs to where they are going to live in the small bedroom that i want to also use as an office. So today i shall be decluttering and organising; doing general housework and hopefully have a walk as i've hardly been outside since Weds...

@elbree another Monzo cheerleader here 🎉 I use it for pots and my personal spending.
Chocolate has no chance to go out of date here unless I've hidden it from MrM and the kids and forgotten about it but that's a rarity!3 -
I am sure chocolate going out of date and being binned is against the law. If not it should be 😤Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓
