We had a belated party for OH for his special birthday, and realised how much we would miss our local friends and family. I think being away for so long unsettled us a bit. I always get itchy feet in the New Year!WinterWarrior said:

I am off to the office later for an eve meeting so it's a long day. I'm just having half a scone leftover from yesterday.
carolbee - i wanted to move last year to the next county but now i'm glad i stayed put. It was a little cheaper there and i wanted to clear my mortgage but now restrictions have eased i've spent more time with local friends and realised i would miss them so i know what you mean

We had scones with jam and clotted cream yesterday. Very nice too.
£40.00 will be plenty WW. Just 3 Mondays to split it over so that's a tenner a week and another tenner contingency.

i got home at 9pm last night but still woke up at silly o'clock
it's Dawnybabes who makes rice pud moving_forward not me - not my fave, i'll have clotted cream ice cream please - not for breakfast though!
