I'm boring with cream eggs, I love the chocolate but not very fond of the fondant, so I prefer a  bar of cad..... suits  me fine.

  • Good morning and happy Wednesday 🍫📚☕️
I have booked Friday off 🎉 Not to do anything, but just because! So just the hump and tomorrow to get through. Money is boring at the moment, I want to update some totals, but nothing can move until Monday ☹️ I have been tweaking my spreadsheet and have a nasty feeling I won’t get to pre ‘the bad month’ savings until March as I’m leaving myself very short.
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday filled with all good things 🌈☕️🍫📚

  • Morning WW and chums. I would find it very hard booking the Friday BEFORE payday off so make sure you lock your purse far far away from temptation 💸

  • Oh here I am again with new ideas! Someone hold me back 🤣
looking at the spreadsheets I think instead of concentrating on recouping ‘the bad month’ I could go a different way and instead fully fund my pots (apart from Christmas) and add to my pb’s. Then all future months can be used for ‘saving, savings’ and I will just refill a pot each time it’s used…kind off like the snowball method where you stop everything to refill the EF if you’ve needed it. My pots are all yearly expenses (mot, service, insurance, pr*me), the roughly quarterly (heating oil) and then Christmas. Birthdays are budgeted as they arrive and from that months wages. So this would give me one lesser savings month, but would then mean everything can go to savings in other months, apart from when a pot is used..and it will stop me worrying about the pots. I’m lucky in that I have enough in most of them already that I could do this in a single swoop on Monday and still add to the pb’s. This would leave me with £140 spends for February.
in other news I have a packet of shortie swirl biscuits for breakfast….that’s just a 2 pack for those who were wondering 😬
