AS I am getting auld my teeth can nae longer cope with Oor Willie toffee
If it’s anything like that toffee Thornton’s used to sell in the wax bags it’s a wonder anyone from that era still has teeth 😱 My mum used to buy it, it was lethal.

  • I have a box of raspberry pencils on the go 🤭 I got them a few months ago though…making them last!
Where did you buy them? I can feel an addiction coming on.  I bought some Oor Wullie toffee bars from Aldi today...
    Am*zn, bargain box of 100 😬
I’m also wary of some toffee 🤣 I once lost a filling on a banana toffo back in the day…it scarred me for life 🤣

You should try eating some of that sticky toffee when you have a plate.  Even superglue wouldn't keep it in place!  Now I take the plate out first.

  • Sometimes it’s just best to suck toffee and take the risk out of it 😁 I always get the fear when it feels like my fillings are creaking!

  • Good morning and happy Thursday 🌈☕️📚🍫
Today is my Friday, so that’s nice. Dog decided she needed a hug at 6am so I was battered while she adjusted her snout on my skull several hundred times and pounded me with her legs while she wriggled around in my arms like the worlds biggest furry baby. She doesn’t do that very often so I hugged and stroked her for a while before turning over and then we spooned. One of the cats left in disgust, but the other held his ground on my pillow. It’s his job to be a fluffy breathing nightcap apparently. They only do it on my side (as it’s a tr*mp free zone maybe?).
No plans to spend anything today and my spreadsheets are fully tweaked, so it’s just the waiting game until Monday for money.
I hope you all have a tremendous Thursday filled with teeth friendly goodies 😬🍫☕️📚🌈

Happy Thursday (or Friday for you) 😊 My dog was also looking for cuddles this morning, she was the same last night too, although she is generally a dog who likes to cuddle.

  • Dog always wants cuddles. So does cat but mainly when he sees someone else wanting a cuddle. Happy Thursday all.

  • Awww all the cuddly hounds 🥰
yes @moving_forward they are. I can’t wait until Monday when they become fully funded as per the new plan….I shall look at them and virtually stroke them all month (and of course be horrified when they are needed). Ideally in months to come, when my savings get where they should be, I will look to double what is expected in each category, then if there is a disaster I won’t have the pressure to refund them straight away. Breathing room is a fabulous luxury to have.
