Today we may be going out, out as we need bulk cat litter from the pet place 30 miles away. We get enough to last a few months, much cheaper than MrT. There is a tempting bnm there and a new small ‘foodfarms’ we haven’t looked in before…the excitement never ends!I will report back later!
I hope you all have a wonderful day filled with magic and happiness 🪄🍫☕️📚
Am going to try and resist the shops today and get some work done, clear my conscience for the rest of the weekend. Then I can go tomorrow 🤣2 -
@elbree it’s so hard! And then you do all that ‘it’s a bargain, so it must be money saving’ justification in your head 😬 You will have a much nicer guilt free shop tomorrow with all your jobs done 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

My sister is famous for coming back from the shops laden with bags crying 'Look how much I SAVED!'
We all have a good chuckle at her, but I'm just the same, I think the only thing maturity has given me is a slightly more honest assessment of whether it is really is a bargain or not. In my feckless 20s I once bought a pair of shoes that were really too small just because I liked them and they were on sale! Needless to say I hardly wore them 🤦🙄

Ooh deni, they are really good ones!@elbree I dread to think of the idiot cc purchases I’ve made over the years 😖
@moving_forward there was a change of plan! Dog was so excited when I got my boots on that I thought she should come too. It cost more in fuel for me as I love dog more than I love car (and I love car a lot), so dog comes in mine, but isn’t allowed in MrWW’s inferior dog free car 😬 I do not leave dog in the car (it’s hard enough leaving car alone in a big bad car park) so MrWW nipped in to the pet place for the tons of litter and I guarded my dog and my car 🤣
so we just waved at the farm place and came home…saving me from spending anything today!I am now gently toasting brioche buns to make gourmet fishfinger and onion ring sandwiches with a touch of lettuce and Mayo I think! 😋Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
