I feel ashamed of using Amazon at all. Somehow, paying them annually means I am tied to them for another year with no possibility of giving up my addiction on a monthly basis. Just think of all those independent bookshops who will go bust because I am in thrall to Jeff Bezos, and consider the plight of all the underskilled and underpaid workers kept miserable in those horrendously vast and chilly warehouses...

I agree, I feel so guilty about using them, but equally it is so convenient when you need something in a hurry and there is so much more choice.  I do use amazon smile so at least a charity gets something out of my poor habits.  I do make an effort where I can to support local businesses though.

  • Good morning and happy Saturday ☕️📚🍫 no work, woohoo 🥳
Today we may be going out, out as we need bulk cat litter from the pet place 30 miles away. We get enough to last a few months, much cheaper than MrT. There is a tempting bnm there and a new small ‘foodfarms’ we haven’t looked in before…the excitement never ends!
    I will report back later!
I hope you all have a wonderful day filled with magic and happiness 🪄🍫☕️📚
