Good afternoon….I’m so late! 

So very spendy, but they had trees in store and we had money set aside for that. It should hopefully last a good few years…our last one has been trotted out for the last 7 and we don’t even like it, but stuck with it until it started to look shabby. Then we got some pet supplies I was running low on, a few extra presents and some Christmas wrapping paper and..ah-hem (whispers) a shed load of sweets I don’t need. The less said about that the better, but if anyone wants a poppet, a handful of mini orange dimes, a bonfire toffee lolly, etc., etc. Just let me know 😏 I resisted so much and am now pretty sorry I didn’t bag an extortionate bar of caramilk to try, or the Neapolitan Cadbury’s bar, or a dozen other yummy looking things…sigh! 

Then we had our flu jabs and covid boosters. They must have reduced the flu jab age to 50 as we’ve never been asked before, either that or I’m officially elderly 😖 It was in a local school hall and they make you wait 15 minutes, but don’t really monitor it so I persuaded MrWW to be a rebel like me and slide out after 10 🤣 He’s not a natural rule breaker, but I’m obviously at that stroppy age 😁

All your sweetie spends sound lovely.  I made a big tasty chicken curry in the slow cooker by 2.30 he could resist the smells no more and a miraculous recovery was made!! Have a lovely relaxing evening x

enjoy your (many) snacks whilst watching Strictly. When will you put your tree up? I’ve got my mini nutcracker, four Santa candle holders and my reindeer ornaments out, they go away once we pop off on holiday.

Neapolitan Cadburys bar!!!!! I'll have to keep an eye open for that one. As there's only me here I didn't see the point in buying any more glasses, everybody else can have plain ones if I get visitors lol it sounds as if had a very busy enjoyable day on the whole.

@nanny it had pink on the top and white under…I’m presuming milk under that, but couldn’t see from the picture and didn’t stop to lick the packet.
