  • I don’t count direct debits or fuel, but I have been counting present spending. I get too much joy from spending money, even presents!
I have a to do list book @Naomim…..I can’t find it 😬 I’ve moved all the stuff on my desk, but no sign of it!

  • Good morning and happy Friday 😁 at last!
Work today, but tomorrow will be spendy! We are traipsing over to B&M to see if the trees that are out of stock on line are still in stock in store. Our tree was a cheap one to put us on and has lasted 5 years, but is looking very sorry for itself now. While we are there we will pick up a few presents and some wrapping paper and then we need to rush back for our booster and flu jabs…then I fully expect to be nursing MrWW for a few weeks while he ticks off all the symptoms he’s read he should have 🤣
I hope you all have a fabulous Friday filled with good luck and happiness 🍫☕️📚🍰

Happy tree hunting, will choc be bought too?

hope all the symptoms don’t manifest! I’d get really cross, I’m not good with imaginary symptoms in people

Bit of holiday planning going in my to do book, which I do know where it is 😉

  • How long until the trip @carolbee? Are you going for all of Christmas and new year? I bet you can’t wait.
I do hope chocolate will be bought while we are there…we only go once a blue moon, so I’ll grab anything different 🍫

@WinterWarrior , Four weeks today until we go, coming back 30 January. This will encompass a 0 birthday for DH,  both DGD’s birthdays, my birthday, a trip to the NSW coast, first meeting with a little black Labrador and the entire Australian school holidays. Two years since we’ve seen them in the flesh. Been too long ....

carolbee - sounds as if you are going to be very busy whilst you're there, you can rest when you get back so make sure you enjoy every day!!!

WinterWarrior - I went to b&m the other day and I was doing so well until I saw the Xmas drinking glasses and bought just one with a robin on it :)

Quiet weekend planned with just a bit of pup walking, getting fed up though of all the wet, windy weather we're having, and the state of the house with muddy paw prints and my poor chewed cushions (I will be buying new ones after he has gone, as they are a bit old). Still it's nice having him here for a few weeks, I think!!!

Thanks, so excited to see them again. We’ve been quite a few times so know the area really well. The other nanny and Grandad live around the corner to them and are lovely. They are coming to the beach house holiday too 😀
