Glad your doggie seems to be OK We gave up selling bits and bobs on ebay ages ago, although we'll do it for items that will bring in decent money, not that we've got many of those so it's a once a year event if that    But gone are the days where I'd put books etc on there. It's much easier for me to bag them up and drop them at the charity shop. Have a wonderful Friday and good luck with the weekly spending budget.

@teafor2 I’m the same. Small things aren’t worth it because of the postage…and I want recorded delivery as proof if I send things so it takes away from the profit. If I can do a bundle that’s worth my while then I will, but Ive never tried selling books or anything less than £50. I’ve never attempted fb marketplace, but I’ve heard some horror stories 🤣

There’s that app Ziffitt or something like that where they buy books. I have loads to get rid of but tend to give them to friends or the charity shop.

Hi all, i've used ziffit to sell books and DVDs.  You put in the ISBN (?) number or scan it and it gives you the price they'll pay.  Free postage, think you have to take it to a collection point.  I used to sell lots on bay of E but its very time consuming, only ever managed to sell a couple of things on Fb - i put some brand new boots on there last year and a couple of people asked if i'd post them and one said she wanted them but couldn't collect them as she didn't have a car - she lived about 2 miles from me - she could've walked (think she was hoping i'd offer to deliver!!)  In the end i sold them to a nice woman who came 15 miles to collect.  There is a second hand bookshop near a friends that buys books so i'm saving up a box to see what they will offer me

I looked at a few of the book sale apps…one wouldn’t cover my area and the other was offering pence for practically new hardbacks and oddly would offer for some in a series and not others…I think I abandoned it, but should really look again.

I woke up feeling very spendy ☹️ All the emails I deleted this morning were tempting me to click the links 🙄
I think I will tackle the craft pile today and try to make my office more manageable. I do need to decorate at some point as the kitten (who is now 6) pulled some wallpaper off for kicks and I’ve been ignoring it ever since. The carpet was there when we moved in and is the kind the hoover sucks up in strips, but the thought of trying to get my office and craft desks out of the tiny space to change it is overwhelming 🤯

Good morning, I have to go and pick up the 15 books I ordered, which have all appeared at once. Bit murky here in Kent today but rest of the week fabulous. I shall be found reclining in the garden with one of the said books. Had chips at the seafront yesterday, meeting up with friends there.

moving craft stuff and desk sounds a big job, break it down into an hour here or there?

is it dog drive out day today?
