They were lovely and the inside of maltesers reminds me of those. I can't stand Horlicks as a drink but I'm not above eating a spoonful of it dry if I'm using it for baking.I’m also sad they no longer have the boxes of smarties you could get at the pictures. The height of decadence when I was very small…but that was when you got a cartoon before the film. I’m 51, but I remember them from the late 70’s, early 80’s. You missed a treat! They were in a little roll and were really dense.@Naomim nougat is good too, especially the kind with big lumps of cherry in!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I've never heard of Horlicks tablets either. Drink wise I'm more of an ovaltiney kid although having said that, nothing quite seems to taste like it used to when I was younger. Enjoy colouring in your spreadsheets2

Good morning and happy Saturday 🌺🌞
i rejiggled my budget a bit, this gives me £180 for the month, which might be more doable. That’s £40 per week and £20 for the part week. Then I spent £18.99 on late night shopping (I know, I know) so have £21 left for this week. Josh & Jim’s luxury biscuits if you were wondering 😬. Spellcheck changed that to late night sopping…I wouldn’t even know where to start!I don’t have any planned spends this weekend apart from diesel when I go out, but that’s budgeted for. I’m creeping perilously close to half a tank and that’s my panic point! Luckily filling up around the halfway point means I rarely spend more than £50 to get it back to the top.I have no idea what I’m doing today.
@dawnybabes Australia has some good stuff. They have all sorts of Cadbury’s bars we can’t get ☹️I think it must be a population thing, like America, they seem to have so much more choice. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Cadbury’s doesn’t taste the same out there! We go every year, in normal times, and often indulge in a bar with the family.Carolbee2

I think it’s the different milk in the choc. Maltesers taste the same. We go purely in the interests of choc tasting...... and our family there
now, Tim Tams and their UK cousin the Penguin Bar is a whole new debate 😀
