Having said that, any organisation will have technical issues from time to time and most are harder to contact than usual in current circumstances, but I haven't seen any similar rants about them on here and have no problems with them myself....2 -
I have been with II for a few years now and have only praise for their customer service - they have never failed to answer or resolve any queries I have.
You can throw the word 'scam' about as often as you like but the one thing I can guarantee you is that in this case YOU are wrong.I don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!1 -
Imagine having no access to your trading account, ISA and SIPP for 2 weeks after a help desk ticket is raised and receiving no acknowledgement or feedback through any comms channel and being told they are trying to fix it and any escalation will take another 48 hours. This isn't a problem with a bank account or a credit card this hundreds of thousands of pounds. That everyone else is OK is doubly concerning as it suggests a specific issue with my accounts for which I am currently completely in the dark. This is my retirement so pardon me for being somewhat emotional about this.
This is with their IT department. I simply don't believe this would be happening if I was using a more reputable firm. The only reason I want with II was because HL could trade ASX stocks.

As requested already, please could you describe the exact problem that you are having?

Having and IT background I believe they have run some jobs and completely screwed my accounts up. I have spoken to them several times and getting nowhere, If I don't get this resolved tomorrow what do I do? Basically very little. I have written to the financial Ombudsman and received the standard Covid we'll get back to you reply. The only remedy I think is a legal one. I need to appoint solicitors to sue them0

My gripe with MSE is that I took II from a recommendation from this site.0

And now it looks like I have lost maybe 400,0000
