Afternoon ladies xx
I dropped off eventually - thank you for stepping in on sentry duty Fayolle, and woke up at 8.30. Hardly dared to open my eye but I did and....no worse than last night. Faint with relief. To give you an idea - I can see the clock on the mantelpiece but I can't tell the time; yesterday I couldn't see the clock!!! I couldn't see my hand in front of my face so the clock actually wasn't in the equation!!! Which brings me to: PIGPEN - you get that appointment made, young lady! Never mind Naggy Nora - she's a lightweight compared to a Raging Roundtuit - and eyesight happens to be high on my agenda at the moment. So tomorrow you ring and you make appointments for Squeak and for yourself, yes? I don't want anyone to go through this - waggy finger will be out next. Believe me, you don't want waggy finger on your back. Colleagues cringe when waggy finger comes out as she always means business! Bossiness over.
Absolutely nothing got done yesterday - not even the bed made. (Are you listening piggers? This is what happens when you neglect your sight!!!) ...hang on, I'll just shove Bossy Boots into a cupboard .... that's better.
So today I have made my bed, fed the birds, filled the birdbath, put out the rubbish and recycling, and pegged out WM x 2. All very carefully so as not to aggravate my eye. WM was not negotiable as I need clean underwear.
Lovely flowers Narc0. Looking good piggers - Moomin will surely love it. Hugs to Fayolle, asb, ionafan, Valli, YL, dancemum and everyone else...come on ladies, I think a group hug is neededEverybody in.
Has anyone heard from Jojo or Mademoiselle? If you are reading please let us know that you are ok. Waves to Pollybear - you ok cheering us on from the sidelines?
Love to all
Rxx

Chic shadow - lovely Piggers I know I have painted a room in that shade I think it is my guest room...excellent work.
Bag of bark chips has done a thick layer on about a third of the border though i have given the actual plants 'breathing' room. It already looks better than dry grey soil. Scrounged a couple af small apple tree branches so I have happy bunnies as there is one in the hutch (understory) and one in the run. Should keep them amused.
WUALTD.
Thanks for the cheerleading Round (a bl00dy vital role, that); still feel 'flat'.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear8 -
It's not over. Sigh.
Dad's girlfriend put some magazines through the letterbox and then fell on my drive. She wouldn't let me drive them home. Obviously shaken and going to be sore and bruised tomorrow no doubt.
Just realised that she probably felt safer walking than with me driving with one eye 🤣

Well I found some 'perfect' plastic baskets for Moomins room so I got those.. and I got her an orange blossom reed diffuser.. I like reduced things! lol.. I got her a mattress protector and duvet and we got the airer we need since Dot trashed our current one.
Round.. my SD has been driving with one eye forever and his sister literally has one eye, she lost the other one in an accident when she was a small baby.
OH has taken the girls to the park now he has fixed 2 knobs to the moomin door, I think her room is pretty much done, I have a bit of painting to touch up but it will be doable while she is at college. I have hung out 2 loads of washing.
I'm going to have a cuppa in peace and get the DW done them make a start on food..
We need to remake out bed.. the naughty cat widdled on it right in front of us this morning.. cheeky ratbag!!
My hayfever is shocking.. I've had triple doses of meds and still snuffling and wheezing.

Feeling so meh. The BD has taken up residence. A friend has invited me over she will bathe the kids and we will put the world to rights. Given how lonely I am I hope this will be a tonic.9

Hi all
Pigpen that room looks lovely, like Kaz says they are lucky to have you.
Round glad things are improving for you but poor Dad's GF. Hope she is OK. As for the group hug, very very welcome x
Woke up in a massive panic, I feel like my anxiety has sneaked up on me when I wasnt watching out for it. Gave myself a shake, gritted my teeth and decided I am stronger than this. So I cycled the 10 miles to my parents, ate Sunday lunch and enjoyed a glass of wine in the garden. Then we gently strolled down to the river and back in the sunshine, and Dad put the bike in the boot of his car and brought me home. Very restful.
No idea what time DH will be home. Relaxing now and trying not to waste what is left of the weekend fretting about the week ahead.

TY all re bedroom.. It is utterly beautiful, if she doens't like it she can go share with DS2 and I will have it.... I just need to do the other 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms need doing, the kitchen and the bathroom.. the bathroom is desperate but going to cost the most so will wait the longest.. it needs all new tiles.

ASB ^^^ Wot she said and (((hugs))).I hope the dog's foot biopsy goes well Pigpen. Losing four so close together must be hard for your mother to bear. Layla's blood test result wasn't as good as we'd hoped so she's got to have it repeated in a few weeks to see if there's a downward trajectory. If so, she's back on the steroids which I rather wanted to avoid. Lucky Moomin with that bedroom - I hope she loves it.The bathroom is done, the Foodbank work is done, laundry shuffled and another load pegged out, bins out - the recycling one has overflowed by A LOT so I have to hope a neighbour lets us top theirs up or a whole bagful will be hanging around for a fortnight. the kitchen floor is still crunchy but we've vacuumed all the carpets so it can wait for another day.Should be walking Layla but I'd rather get up in the attic and sort out the whites. She might get a very short one after I come down. She seems perfectly happy at the moment so I'm not going to worry about it.Better is good enough.8
