Wow, Narco - they look fabulous.Huge congratulations to Mr Ionafan on his weightloss. I hope a surgery date comes through really quickly.Well done Round on going straight to A&E twice. I hope the eye settles down over the next few days and doesn't give you any more cause for concern.I've spent two days fretting about an email I had to write, and realised this morning that the shorter it was the better. In the end it was three sentences and with any luck I'll never hear from that person again. I reined in my instinctive response to blast them with both verbal barrels but decided that that being considerably more gentle than that was the only way I could live with myself. He's got off very lightly indeed considering the damage he did.Must do the kitchen floor. It's positively crunchy.Gibble shifted about yet again, a frustrating pastime but I want to clear the double bedroom and had made some space in my office. Theatres will eventually reopen and people will need accommodation again but it looks like that's still months away. (Panto season, I reckon.) More stuff's been allocated to the piles for the CS, the Foodbank, the animal rescue bins in the supermarket and the Scrapstore. I'd dearly love to get up to the attic tomorrow to get more down but I can't guarantee I will because I've been putting it off for a few days already. I know what's going next - single fitted sheets and linen table cloths. If I do at least one carload a week for the next few months that should lessen the chaos. More stuff went in the main bin for collection next week. It's recycling and garden waste this week - they're both full already.
Better is good enough.7 -
Round.. naughty eye.. I hope it behaves very soon so you can have a day off A&E xx
We had a tip run today and binned the old mattress and the dead carpet from Moomins room.Gripper purchased and put down, underlay put down,
DS2 loaded the DW
WM was on again so all the piddly bedding is now washed and most is dry. 1 of my duvets is hung on the door next to me and smells lovely.
Boog de-pooped the cat trays.OH reloaded the DW and scrubbed oven trays.
I folded the washing and aired the smaller bits in the dryer just so they can be put away.
My sisters partner is supposed to be coming to fit the new carpet.. at 6pm.. it is now 7:15... I will just go do it if he isn't here soon. OH can help lay it flatish so it just needs slicing and tucking down.
Dot is not sleeping at all. She has been getting up at 4am and is constantly howling.. of course she wakes everyone else so they are all howling. Not quite sure what is going on but it could be anything.
Parcel collected from Hermes drop off place.. I skived out of a Boots trip.. I couldn't be bothered.. iif Boog was desperate for his stuff he could have got dressed and collected it himself. We didn't go to B&Q we got gripper from a local shop so saved that traumatic experience and probably saved a small fortune.Tiktok deleted and blocked from ALL devices the girls have access too.. no one needs that brain drain and highly inappropriate garbage thank you..
Bed time... I shall fling some children so Squeak can have some peace with us.. and OH is meant to be raiding at 8pm.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -

Beautiful flowers, Narc0. And I love the little pots of daisies too - well done Mr N.
Round, my lovely, you rest and take care. The last thing that you want is the specialist doctors knowing you by name, believe me! I’ll make you another cuppa now so you don’t have to budge from the sofa xx
I have pootled in the gh this afternoon. Courgettes, squash etc seeds sown even if they may never get to the allotment at this rate. Oh and I flicked the duster around the house. The vacuum cleaner is still on its long term break though.
YL, I hope you have heard from DS that he is home safe and sound x7 -
YL any news? Bed for me. I am stressed about going back to work on Monday and covered in ezcema.7

Love the pew end Narco x
Sorry about the bump and eye Round. Hope your eye gets better soon x
Iona sorry you have been struggling with the hill etc. Well done Mr IF on weight loss. x
Honeybear hope your email works. Well done on having a plan for each week. You are an inspiration. Little by little big differences are made. x
YL hope Ds’ trip was successful. I glad you are feeling a little better. x
First day back for dancing today then on to DG’s to sort my stack of charity bags out. They will be collected hopefully on Monday. Whilst there, I managed to clear a path to my old wardrobe and found one of my baby dresses and lots of my childhood board games. Did I mention that I was born in that house?

bathroom cleaned9 -
Oh sorry all, yes he is back safe and sound, thank you. He set off at 3am, drove 4 hours, napped for an hour then drove 1.5 hours back before they stopped at services for something to eat, and then he swapped with his workmate who drove the rest of the way back. Apparently they had to take both mare and foal because the foal is too little to be separated from his mum, which made it all a bit more stressful, but DS was pleased with himself. I just hope he doesnt tell me the next time he goes off on one of these adventures.
Narco those flowers just shout spring to me, beautiful.
I have done lots of flying, windows cleaned, floors hoovered, a couple of marks rubbed off the sofa, washing dried and put away. DH is going fishing tomorrow, I am going to cycle slowly to my parents for lunch in the garden, then Dad will bring me home if don't feel like cycling back.
ASB we are so alike, I always fret before going back to work. Hugs x
HB sometimes short and to the point has the most impact, glad you have got it off your chest, and Round take it easy x9 -
WE HAVE CARPET!!!!
I'm leaving it to settle overnight and vacuuming in the morning and getting everything in place ready for picking Moomin up at 10pm.. I CANNOT WAIT to see her face.. it is just beautiful in there.. The carpet has a few folds but it will be ok when it has settled in a couple of weeks.. I need to touch up a bit of paint on the skirting, repaint the fireplace and the windowsill can be painted once it is cleared of stuff.. but it looks amazing. I need a dun£lm trip tomorrow.. I may need a fluffy rug in there, I need to get her a double duvet unless Amazon can deliver one tomorrow.. and I want the bed sheet to match the pillow covers.. it is £3.50 I can manage that.
Dun£lm C&C to organise then..
I am ridiculously excited about getting the room finished.

I found the source of my evening coughing fit.. there is a massive fire at a recycling centre and it has been burning for about 6 hours.. the smoke is unbelievable.. it is pallets which are burning. But I cannot stop coughing.
I decided I do not need a fluffy rug.. that is merely a want.. not a good enough reason.. I need 2 sheets, a double duvet and a laundry bag.. for my rom because the cat (Nutkin~!!) keeps widdling on my washing pile.
