My apologises for not having responded earlier, I have had a major technology failure, and have lost a lot of the work that I had already done and saved.

The first sentence of the Statement of Truth in your Witness Statement should read - I believe the facts stated in this Witness Statement are true.

Yes, you are absolutely right, my witness statement had to be submitted by last Thursday, was waiting for as long as possible before submission, in the hope that I would have received the Claimants statement before submission, did not work out like that, not only did I not get to see their statement, but my ageing technology failed on me, and I lost much of what I had already prepared, save for hard copy that I had printed up, up hill battle to get everything together and submitted before the deadline, clearly I have shot myself in the foot in the process, perhaps both of them! But thank you all for the help that you have all been good enough to give me.
